"Stubborn little thing." He muttered under his breath. He expected this sort of fearless behavior from her but didn't think she would dare to disagree with him in public.

She raised her finger and poked his iron chest with each word. "You. Will. Release. Qinqin. Is. That. Clear?" Because of their height difference, she needed to look up to him while doing so and she couldn't help but feel it was such a disadvantageous position. She didn't like it one bit.

Not only was she daring enough to disagree with him in public but she was arrogant enough to make demands? Seriously, this woman didn't fear death. All the women he used to mess around with had an unhealthy amount of fear for him and would not dare do anything to displease him. Who knew he would meet his match one day in a woman with the same level of stubbornness?

He wondered how she would react if he taught her a rough lesson. He harshly grabbed her fingers, slightly bending it to a painful angle. Instead of crying out in pain, she caught him by surprise yet again when she used her other hand to slap his chest.

"Do you think that would hurt me?" She scoffed, despite the fact that her watery eyes had already betrayed the pain she had been suppressing. She definitely would not back down!

Yang Feng sighed, knowing she wouldn't budge. He eventually released her fingers to gently massage it. Stupid woman, just say it hurt.

"Ruqin needs to head back to the main mansion. My parents are looking for her." That damn brat hadn't been home since she had been scolded for having a scandal with a novice model. Having a boy toy instead of finding a reputable man to take home was simply unacceptable to her parents.

"But I did nothing wrong!" Yang Ruqin wailed, despite the fact that she knew exactly what she did. It truly was just a simple fling. It wasn't like she was going to marry that guy! How come Yu-ge can sleep with countless women while I get in trouble for having fun with one guy?!

Her family was initially against her modeling career when she decided to first pursue it, but they eventually relented when she persisted.

She just didn't want to face the wrath and disappointment of her mother and father for being involved in a scandal like that. She was also too scared to go back home, in fear that she would be cornered by her fearsome grandfather. Even thinking about him was enough to give her goosebumps.

"Qinqin is an adult. She can go home by herself." Zhao Lifei defended Yang Ruqin the same way she used to during their younger years. She always covered up for her Qinqin, regardless of the circumstances.

Yang Feng turned to her. "If you continue to dote on her like this, you'll spoil her rotten-"

"Oh, please. Don't act like you haven't spoiled her rotten either!" Zhao Lifei scoffed, rolling her eyes at him.

Everyone in the Yang family doted on Yang Ruqin the second she was born. She was the ideal daughter of a wealthy family with her incredible beauty, perfect charisma and personality. No one would even imagine someone as kind, innocent and naive as Ruqin would come from a family that had gotten their power through the underworld. Until someone provokes the Yang blood lying dormant in her veins, then hell hath no fury like a scorned Yang Ruqin. It was always the kindest woman that dealt the most damage.

"At least I don't cover for her every time she does something wrong! She needs to face the consequences of her actions, or else she won't learn!" Yang Feng can't help but pettily argue back as she glowered at him.

"Don't say it as if you haven't covered for her multiple times! Qinqin is naive. She's always prone to scandals, and I know you hide the majority of it."

Although Yang Ruqin was tightly protected, she always manages to attract trouble. Instead of her brothers, she would often run to Zhao Lifei to cry in fear that her career would be over and how her family would force her to quit. But she knew best that the Yang brothers may outwardly bully their sister, but they would always protect her. There were some major scandals such as her beating a man up with a carrot that threatened to leak out but never did. Of all the idiotic things that her Qinqin did, she had an inkling that it was her siblings that kept a tight lid on it.

"Hey! I'm not that naive!"

"You followed the textbook definition of a sketchy man just because he promised to show you a dozen puppies!" Zhao Lifei incredulously told her. She had been woken up by her Qinqin's security detail when the woman sneaked out in the middle of the night without her bodyguards just so she can see some damn puppies!

"T-that was one time-"

"Oh, don't get me started on the carrot incident either." She sighed, tiredly rubbing her forehead, only to realize it was still covered in a thick layer of gauze. Oh right, she was still in the hospital. She raised her head to the medical staff who awkwardly had to stand and listen in to their conversation.

'Was this how all wealthy people acted? Who would think they would be so...abnormal?'

Yang Yulong remained seated in the couch, using everything in his willpower to keep himself from laughing out loud. Watching his older brother argue with that woman was like watching a married couple argue about how to raise their pampered daughter.

"Oh right, I was supposed to have a check-up." Zhao Lifei turned to them with a polite smile on her face. The smile slipped a bit upon seeing Han Wuting but she remained respectful.

Yang Feng seized her momentary distraction to lift his hand off of her waist to signal his men to send his sister out the door. Before he could gesture for them to cover Yang Ruqin's mouth to keep her from making any noise, Zhao Lifei had already turned to glare at him.

"Absolutely not. She's staying here with me."

"For the last time, Ruqin is going back to the main mansion-"

"You, mister, have a multi-billion company to run. Have you ever gone back to the company while I was unconscious? Hurry along now." She placed her palms against his chest to push him away and went back to her previous position on the hospital bed.

He watched her with a scowl on his face. Screw the company, he'd rather be here with her instead! "I can stay here and-"

"Qinqin will stay here. We have a lot of things to catch up on. You have thousands of employees waiting for you, meetings to attend, contracts to look at, reports to check, and an entire team of people at your beck and call. Yang Enterprise needs you more than I do." Her dejected voice coming out as she tried to coax him into leaving.

Yang Ruqin hid her victorious smirk. Of course, it was always her Feifei coming to her rescue! When it comes to getting her out of trouble, only Feifei would excel in that! Hah, take that Feng-ge, I've just found my ultimate shield against you!

Yang Feng walked to her bed and sighed at the fact that she just woke up, and she's already had an eventful afternoon. He fluffed the pillow for her and helped her adjust to a more comfortable position. In a low voice that only they could hear, he said, "I'd feel safer knowing I'm here with you." He tucked the lower half of her body into the blanket.

Zhao Lifei chuckled at his sullen state. "I already know you have your top bodyguards out there. Trust your men. I know they would protect me." She softly reassured him before giving his cheek a pat. When she was about to pull back her hand, he grabbed it, his large, warm hands covering her tiny ones.

Because his shoulders were so broad, it hid their intimate moment. No one saw their exchange. "Once I'm done with work, I'll come here as fast as I can. Until then, stay put." He said, referring to the incident in the past where she refused to reside in the hospital and even pulled out her own IV drips.

"Behave, alright?" He patted her head as if she was a kid.

"And if I don't?" She challenged him.

His eyes darkened, a mischievous smile on his face. Using his thumb, he caressed her cheek. "There are a lot of ways a man can punish his lover." He whispered to her.

"And I can promise you, my love, it will have you screaming for mercy." Warmth spread throughout her body at his words. She stiffened, already knowing what he was referring to. This perverted bastard-

"So behave and I will award you well-"

"What if I like that type of pain?" She blurted out, her words taking him by complete surprise. She smirked at his dumbfounded expression. Two can play this game.

"Then I'll use something else on you-"

"And if I like that as well?"

"Are you that freaky in bed?" He teased her while tapping her cute button nose with his index finger. He knew she was lying by the way her cheeks suddenly heated up. But if she answered yes, then he couldn't wait for the fun nights ahead of them.
