Chapter 3603 Powerful Enemy I

Seeing the Grimm; I wanted to run, and I did.

It is a Peak-Earth Sovereign Grimm with a bloodline. I am sensing its aura and it is terrifying.

Even with the strengthening energies flowing inside me. I have no confidence to survive against it.

Fighting against it is like standing on a broken stool with a noose on the neck. There is a high chance that a stool would stumble, and one would die of suffocation.

It is much faster than me and it won't take more than a few seconds to catch up to me. It is why I am not running to escape, but to find someone to fight against it.

There are a couple of people on whom I could unload this bastard, but I would need to reach them. I am using all my speed to do that.

I was reaching close, that even the Stoneman, toward whom I was moving, had noticed me when I saw the Grimm chasing me increase its speed by more than double, rapidly catching up to me, till it appeared in front of me and stopped.

"You have been killing a lot of us, little bastard!" said Black-Strips Tigerman, with bolts of black lightning moving around it.

That lightning is not normal; it is made of dense curse energy.

"You have killed a lot of natives too," I replied after a second of silence. It grinned hearing my reply, before its eyes turned sharp.

"It is my right to kill you filthy natives; I am doing you, a great favor by wiping your filthy existing, while you have committed the greatest sin imaginable and for it, you needed to eradicate the most painful way possible," it said, and saber appeared in claws.

The saber is huge and long. Its blade is scarlet and made of crystal; it is so sharp, that I had looked away.

"To us, it is you who are filthy, and I am proud to have contributed to the good work of wiping some of you off the world," I said and grinned.

I shouldn't have said those words; I should have kept it as calm as possible. So, it would go easy on it. It will help me survive longer, which is very important for me to survive.

"A spunk, Hun. I like to see if you still have it when my curse lightning tears through your body and soul," it said with an angry grin and attacked.

Its attack is a blur of lightning; I didn't see it and was only able to sense, thanks to the curse, I have an affinity with.

CLANNNNNG!

Its saber clashed against my sword, and I felt like, the primordial lightning had crashed against me.

It crashed into me with such force that for a moment; I didn't move at all.

Puh!

The blood came out of my mouth and through all my orifices. My bones broke and my skin split, and the blood began to come out of it; this was all done by the physical force of the attack.

As for the energy, it had covered my whole body, before starting to drill inside me, while I shot back at speed, which is even greater than my flying speed.

For a second, the formation struggled, before it refined some energy and absorbed it. At the same time, a few formations lit up; pouring the curse aspect of my constitution, which immediately strengthened it, against this powerful curse energy.

As I had shot back, it followed me, rather comfortably.

"You survived," it said with a slight surprise before a smile lit up on its face.

"Well. You needed to be, at least powerful enough to take an attack like this or you wouldn't have been able to kill so many of us," it said and, once again, it swung its saber at me.

I could tell the attack was stronger and faster.

Seeing it, I couldn't help but curse in my heart before moving my sword forward to defend against this attack.

CLANNNNNG!

Once again, its saber hit me and the blood came out through every side, while I shot back at even greater speed.

I looked at my injuries, and my expressions couldn't help but turn nasty.

The injuries are very serious.

With them, I could harness 99.6% of my strength. 0.4% may not seem huge, but it is, and it was able to do its second attack.

In the third one, it will decrease by several percent and not by points. It is happening while there are strengthening energies inside me, mixed with healing energies and even they couldn't stop my injuries from worsening.

'It seemed like, I have to use that,' I thought unwillingly.

I have a formation, a powerful one with potent resources, like the petal of a centurion lotus. The mix of resources was extremely powerful, and I tested several seconds before cutting it off.

Once I start, it will heal my injuries with incredible speed, but I won't be able to stop it.

Once I do, the powerful weakness will grip me. I will also need the strengthening energy running in my body, without it, it will start to eat my body and could kill me within minutes, very painful.

I wanted to destroy this option, so there wouldn't be any compulsion to use it when things get hard.

Thankfully, my rational mind made me keep it, because I don't think, will be able to survive seconds, much less a minute, that I want to.

So, I grit my teeth and deactivate all the healing formations before activating the one.

As I did, the energy, thick as honey, entered my body and mixed with strengthening energy, becoming a little less thick, but incredibly powerful, seeing how fast it was able to heal my injuries.

I wish I could watch more, but Tigerman swung its saber at me with even more power than before.

The attack hit me and burst out more injuries across my body, but this time, they started to heal back at an incredible rate; much faster than before.

I could see the wounds closing at a speed that I couldn't follow.

Seeing that, I couldn't help, but feel a little relieved. However, that relief had vanished when I saw it swinging another attack.

CLANNNNNG CLANNNNNG CLANNNNNG

Its attack kept coming; every second, it would launch one attack. I could launch more, but it wants to play with me.

I am so thankful that Grimms like to play with their enemies. It had saved my life, more than I could count. If they had just gone and done the job, I wouldn't have been standing here.

Even this one would have been able to kill me. If it had used considerably more power.

Not that I am complaining; it is the reason I am alive and hope it will continue to play around for a minute or more.

I was just thinking about that when I noticed something. The auras of native Sky Sovereigns have become powerful.

"All natives, use your full power and vanquish the enemy,"

The command of the leader rang out, and I wanted to curse. The command effectively moved the battle into the last stage and since the natives doing that, Grimms would follow soon.

"Tribes of divine; wipe the filthy natives with your full power!" roared the Grimm leader.
