Chapter 3586 Hiding

"I will have fun eating you tonight," I said to the chicken monster as I finally froze it with my strings.

Fighting it wasn't easy. 

The bastard was quite strong and the first monster in more than three weeks to discover me. Thankfully, I had discovered it and made the preparations, or our battles would have alerted quite a lot of people.

A moment later, I pulled it into my core and collected everything I had spread around the battlefield before walking away.

A few minutes later, I was a distance away in completely stealth.

Even if someone had come across the battlefield, it would be extremely hard for them to track me.

I spread my soul waves around as I walked soon after something caught in it, that put a smile on my face. 

I investigated and when everything seemed fine; I moved toward the target. It is a little far and moving, but I am confident that I will catch up to it.

Over ten minutes passed when suddenly, I had stopped. A Sky Sovereign had entered my range, and it was releasing the crystals.

Since I had seen one two and a half days ago, I haven't seen another Sky Sovereign throwing away the crystals, until this one.

I only stopped for a second, before resumed moving toward the prey. As for the crystal, they are not going anywhere, not to mention I will have to pass the Grimms to get them.

The Grimms, who also seemed to have sensed the Sky Sovereign and now hiding.

Hun!

Another minute and a half passed, and I was stealthily moving toward the Grimm. When I suddenly stopped, my expression changed drastically.

I thought for a moment before taking out of my abode and entering inside it through the invisible gate.

Eight seconds later, my abode sensed the powerful shockwave.

I had sensed another Sky Sovereign; a Grimm and seeing the direction it was moving and how the native Sky Sovereign stopped. It is without a doubt that, the fight will occur, and it did, if the data in front of me is any proof.

I really wanted to curse right now; that Grimm was really juicy, and it wouldn't have taken me long to kill it.

With the Grimms controlling our exit. It had become even more important for me to kill these bastards; it will not only reduce their numbers but will also provide me with a boost of strength.

I sighed and shook my head, before sitting on the chair, watching the small lake.

A minute later, I tapped a few buttons on the command before entering inside my core. The abode will inform me, the moment the battle ends. Till then I will do something productive.

There are a lot of things for me to do in my abode.

I appeared by the door of the library and entered inside. There, four of my clones are working on the inheritance and I joined them.

Since I got the method; I am steadily walking toward the limit. In the forbidden strengthening. In the regular strengthening, I am sprinting, thanks to the juicy Grimms.

So, it becomes important that I make just as fast progress in the inheritance as well.

This is easier said than done, especially when I am trying to add more ancient rune formations at every breakthrough.

I am even planning to think about deputing one more clone for this job, but I have yet to decide on it. The four clones outside the library are doing an important job too, and I didn't want to pull them out.

Still, I will do it, if I feel the need for it.

I worked and even helped my clone brainstorm. There are many things we are trying; we have to do it. It is this way; that we could find the best-suited choice for the inheritance.

If we always go, we could never achieve the level of inheritance. We try to achieve at every breakthrough.

More than an hour passed inside, when I stopped and got out of my core. Outside, I looked at the data floating in front of me.

Earlier, I had made a setting that the abode would inform me, if it didn't sense battle fluctuation for five minutes straight, and for the five minutes, there was not as slightest fluctuation of Sky Sovereign powerhouses.

I studied the data carefully but didn't leave the abode immediately and instead activated a few formations in the above.

Fifteen minutes passed, and I finally dared to come out and the destruction, I saw a kind of shock.

It is not like; I have seen it first time, but still, the power of the Sky Sovereigns is on a completely different level. 

I shook my head and spread the soul waves.

There was a relief, not sensing the presence of the Sky Sovereigns, but the moment later, my eyes lit up and I started to move.

The Grimms I had been chasing are still hiding under the power of the stealth formation and it is quite good. However, it was still unable to hide from my soul waves.

They are not common waves of soul sense. If they had been, I wouldn't dare to use them.

They are special with the inherent forbidden power in them, which makes them discover things that are hiding very well.

Seven and a half minutes later, I reached near the Grimm. Closer than I would have if it hadn't used that stealth formation.

I didn't immediately attack it, even though I had confidence that I would be able to kill it within half a minute. Instead, I hid and released my strings.

A minute and a half later, a smile appeared on my face, and I walked toward the Grimms, with a smile on its face.

It sensed me and within seconds, it realized, I was coming toward it. Seeing that, it had removed that formation and looked at me, with its crimson eyes.

"You have a powerful soul sense," said Goatman, and I grinned. "It is not the only powerful thing I have," I said and leaped toward it.
