Chapter 3584 Taken Over

My sword pierced through the heart of Grimm, who was moving fast despite being bound, and even when I struck its heart, it kept moving its sword at me.

However, it got slower, and I was easily able to dodge it.

A second and a half later, it froze, and I pulled it into my core.

As I did that, I wiped the sweat from my brows, and I began to retreat. This time, not toward another prey, but out of the area.

I have been here for two days and hunted quite a lot of them. The Grimms have become cautious and even Sky Sovereigns seemed to have gotten involved.

Thankfully, one of ours was present, and things didn't go too far. 

Still, it is better to leave as soon as possible, as I have gotten more than I had wanted and Crockman, whom I had just killed, was my biggest haul. 

I had to plan really well to kill it. It was powerful and not something I would have been able to defeat in a direct battle, even with the strings. As it would turn me into gore, before that.

I didn't usually take such risks, but the chance presented itself and I couldn't resist it.

Buzz!

It didn't take long for me to hear the familiar buzzing and, a moment later; thick, strengthening essence filled my body.

Instantly making the huge risk, I took worth it.

The strengthening essence I had experienced filled my body and started to merge with me. It is amazing how fast the strengthening essence increases my strength, but I am more excited about things happening in my core.

Growth energy is roaring inside my core, filling all the plants. Taking them higher and higher into the level.

A few minutes passed and the last drop of the growth energy had been absorbed. What I saw had put a smile on my face. 

I had not reached my target, but I had reached close enough that I could get out of the realm without any disappointments about it.

Hours passed and turned into days. I continued with the journey, killing any Grimms I had come across, especially the bloodline one.

Three and half days later; I had crossed the invisible boundary dividing the realm.

I stopped and turned back to the invisible boundary. 

"It seemed like, the two parts are merging," I said after looking at it for several seconds. The realm was already one, but the other part was always locked whenever one was opened.

Now, that won't be the case.

The realm will truly become one whenever it opens. It will be open completely, not in the parts like before.

'It is going to make things interesting,' I thought, seeing the Grimms also control the realm and now they will have to share with the natives. If the people of Kev, have enough resources and experts, then they could even devise where the other exit is.

Once they do, they don't even need to take action. They just need to inform the right party like Tor or Alkaz and they will have the Grimm problem dealt with.

'The Grimms aren't going to like it,' I thought.

If it had been a regular realm, nobody would have taken that effort, because sometimes keeping the Grimms are useful. They act like a whetstone for the members of the organization.

This realm isn't normal, or at least, it is a realm where the temple of irudin had appeared. I don't know whether they will take the risk of keeping the Grimms.

A few more hours passed, and I had killed several Grimms; there were more Grimms than I had expected, but I didn't think about it much.

Soon it was dark, but I continued with my travel.

It was nearly midnight when suddenly I saw something. A Sky Sovereign flying through the sky, throwing a memory crystal in every direction; one of which coming toward me.

'Did they find something?' I asked myself.

The last time they sent crystals, when they have found the temple of irudin. This time too, it is either, they have found something or something happened.

I didn't move to catch the crystal, despite it being close to me. Instead, I let it fall and kept an eye on the Sky Sovereign. For all I know, the Sky Sovereign might be a cultist, and this is some kind of trap.

It was not someone I had seen before and even if I had seen them, it wouldn't have mattered. Changing faces is a simple thing for the Sky Sovereigns.

Over ten minutes after the Sky Sovereign had disappeared. I appeared beside the crystal and picked it up, with my string.

After confirming there were no traps in it, I seeped my soul sense inside, and immediately, my mouth formed o read the information inside.

'Well fuck,' I cursed.

A few hours ago, the Grimms had launched an attack and taken over the exit. Now, there are thousands of them, with many Sky Sovereigns and if we want to get out of the realm, we will have to fight it.

There is another option, asking Prime to come in, but it is extremely risky.

This is a Sky Sovereign realm, and if Prime's weight is detected. There will be unforeseen destructive changes and I am sure the Grimms would have made the preparations for them.

The Prime wouldn't take such risks unless there was no choice.

The crystal is asking us a gather one place in three days. Not immediate, but in two days, which is wise, because first, they would need to make the place secure.

If Grimms just attacked like they had attacked the exit; it would be extremely hard to survive, unless there is adequate protection.

It is why; they have mentioned a rough place, a small region, and not an exact place and even said it might change. They sent the crystal mostly to inform them what had happened.

Looking at the videos and images, they have added in the crystals; it seemed to be genuine, but I will keep my doubts.

Sigh!

I sighed a moment later. I wanted to reach the exit and get out. Go back to the organization as soon as possible. So, I could gather the resources I needed to practice the other method. 

I like to practice it before I make the next breakthrough. I mean, it is for that reason I had chosen the method. 

Now, with this news, I have to change my plans.

Immediately, a map appeared in front of me, and I looked at the place, that like would be a gathering place and the places in between.

Soon, my eyes fell on a place; it was not directly in the path of that place, but it was likely the place that Grimms would target. I will go there and try to hunt some Grimms; it has now become even more important.

Getting to the exit is going to be hard and I need to gain as much strength as possible before that.

I don't want to die after getting so much in this realm.
