Chapter 3553 Slaying Giant

"Use everything you have to kill this bastard!" It said and golden fire burst out of its body and began to cover it; till, I could see nothing other than the golden fire.

It had become a fire giant. That I looked even smaller in front of it than before.

I have a move similar to it, but it didn't warrant the use of it. It is better that I fight, with my current tiny size.

"BURN!" 

It roared and swung the sword, covered in thick golden fire covering it. While the two Grimms attacked me, from both sides, what seemed like their strongest attack.

I swung my spear against the coming attack and moved my shields toward the direction of two attacks coming at me.

I didn't even try to hide them.

These two are weak compared to the one I am fighting. 

If I want, I could kill them; the one in front of me is a real challenge and I want to finish it as soon as possible, before any of the broken formations trigger and kill us all.

CLANNNNG!

Our weapons clashed, and I shook, while at the same time, the tide of golden fire came at me and covered me whole.

If it was not enough, then the two attacks clashed against my shields, which defended excellently. They never worried me; it werewolf that did, and now it launched another attack.

I swung my spear toward it, while my armor lit up and absorbed all the fire by the time my spear reached the fiery sword of the giant again.

CLANNNNG!

The spear clashed, and I shook again and this time, even blood leaked from the corner of my lips.

I thought, after the breakthrough and feeling the strength I had gained, I would be able to defeat the bastard rather easily but forgot that it was the Golden Fire Werewolf I was dealing with.

These bastards are extremely strong and the one, I am dealing with is just an average, seeing it could only project this much strength, at High-Earth Sovereign despite having a bloodline.

It might sound hard to believe, but there are some at the same level as it, who could burn me to ashes within a single attack.

CLANNNNG!

Once again, my weapon clashed with the giant, nearly forcing me to take steps back, but I was able to stop myself.

However, I wasn't able to stop my internal organs from getting injured further.

"You should be ashamed of yourself. If I had been fighting a real Golden Fire Werewolf, I would have died already," I taunted, and it seemed to work, seeing the fire covering it flared wildly.

"I will kill you, you bastard!" it roared, and its attack got stronger, but not for much, just a slight.

Still, it is a challenge for me, who is already using his full power to defend against its attack.

CLANNNNG!

Once again, I defended, but this time, I was forced to take a step back and even vomited the blood, which turned to ashes thanks to the fire covering me.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

Attack after attack came, and it injured me more and more. Thankfully, they were only the physical injuries and not the ones caused by the energy, or I would have been retreating right now.

"You should just accept the defeat. It will save you a lot of pain," it said as it attacked me again.

"I could have given you the same offer, but I couldn't. You will feel the most horrific pain, whether you die now or a couple of seconds later," I said as I defended against the attack.

For the first time in a couple of seconds, I didn't take a step back. 

Though I had vomited the blood; it was not much as I had vomited the past few times.

I defended against the next attack and didn't even vomit. Just shook from top to down. I have gotten used to its attack, adjusting my armor according to it. 

A few more seconds passed, and it continued with the attacks.

The other two also continued, no matter how inconsequential their attacks seemed. 

Once again, it attacked again, but this time, I did something new. Instead of countering, I moved left.

The Grimms moved its giant sword smoothly to follow me and it was catching up to me, but not before I had reached the Deerman, tearing through the attack it had launched at me.

Puch!

It was shocked seeing me in front of it and more shocked when it saw my sword entering its chest a moment later.

It was shocked, but there was a smile on its face, as it looked at the giant fiery sword, right behind me, ready to burn me to death.

That smile froze as the sword behind me froze.

I removed my sword and moved toward the Weaselman who was watching it all in horror.

I could have dealt with the Golden Fire Werewolf as I bound it fully a moment ago, but that would have given the chance to two of them to escape.

If we had been to the plains and mountains, I would have done that, but we are a freaking place with broken formations everywhere. If these two had been daring enough, they might have gone for the formations, risking their lives as well as mine.

I couldn't have that. 

So, I finished the Deerman and moved toward the Weaseleman, who finally reacted understanding what was happening.

It had begun to run, and it was moving toward the broken formation.

Unfortunately for it, I had already crossed more than half of the distance between it and me. So, I simply threw my spear at full power at it.

Puch!

It moved fast, amazingly fast, reaching the Grimm in less than a second, before piercing into its chest. 

It had tried to defend, but my spear had curved at the right time, avoiding its blade.

I appeared beside it a moment later and took it to my core. I did the same to the Deerman, before finally turning to the Golden Fire Werewolf.

"You might have been average, but you have given me a worthy battle." 

"It is such regret that we were fighting in this dangerous place, or I would have definitely tried to kill you with my blade," I said and pulled it inside my core.

There was some resistance, but I succeeded.

All three Grimms entered inside my core, but my core could handle them. I just wished that more of them had bloodlines.

Though, I am not too disappointed. Seeing the Golden Fire Werewolf will give me a good amount of high-quality strengthening energy.

They always do it, even if they are average.

I looked at my injuries and activated some formations before resuming my journey. 

Not a single broken formation had been activated during the battle, but it would be wise for me to get away from this place as soon as possible.

A few seconds later, the runes climbed into the bodies of the Grimms and soon the harvest began.

Buzz!

Less than a minute later, the strengthening essence released from my core, and it was more amazing than I had thought.
