24 – Fernandro Principality’s Decision

A blue-haired and green-eyed man sat on the throne, he had a hooked nose and was brawny as a bear, his eyes were brimming with coldness and dignity as he looked down. This blue-haired and green-eyed man was the current Archduke Fernandro.

This generation’s Archduke Fernandro is one of the most outstanding Archdukes in Fernandro Principality’s history. Under his leadership, the entire Fernandro Principality was thriving and was several times more flourishing than in the past.¹

Under the watch of Archduke Fernandro, the ministers were somewhat restless and frightened. Archduke Fernando had a very clear policy about rewards and punishments, his rewards were extremely generous, however, his punishments were also extremely generous and difficult to bear.^2,3

He commanded Steel Lord Yang Ye’s mechanical golem legion. Shortly afterwards, Giant-Stone City dispatched troops in order to punish the rebellion, yet they were defeated by Steel Lord’s mechanical golem legion. Then Steel Lord Yang Ye’s mechanical golem legion raided Black City and murdered its master Bonney. According to my conjectures, Zhao Jiang is likely to have obtained a relic from Sixth Dynasty, obtaining its mechanical golem legion.

“Sixth Dynasty!”

“Is that mechanical golem legion a product of Sixth Dynasty?”

“Sixth Dynasty’s mechanical golem legion could even massacre the terrifying gods! If that really is Sixth Dynasty’s mechanical golem legion, how can we defend against them?”

Hearing the name of Sixth Dynasty, all the ministers’ complexions at once became extremely pale, as all of them pitched in in the discussion.

Within the Eight Great Warlock Dynasties, Second Warlock Dynasty was a dynasty brimming with a variety of taboo research. Sixth Dynasty was a dynasty brimming with the refinement of a variety of Mysterious Treasures. Sixth Dynasty was also known as the Mysterious Treasure Dynasty. Mechanical golems were a formidable battle weaponry developed by Mysterious Treasure Dynasty. During the time of Sixth Dynasty, their mechanical golem legion campaigned in various planes, while also conquering many of them – they massacred an uncountable number of gods’ and fiends’ planes.

The highest masterpiece of Sixth Dynasty’s was the mechanical golem king Acanthe, who’s fighting prowess were one of the strongest at the time. Afterwards, not knowing why, Acanthe under the enticement of the fiends commanded 1/3 of the mechanical golem legion to rebel against Sixth Dynasty, which then led to the downfall of Sixth Dinasty.

After the destruction of Sixth Dynasty, Acanthe moved to a main material plane, occupied it and became its ruler. That main material plane is now called ‘Core of Mechanics’ plane. Among the humans it’s also known as one of the strongest and most terrifying planes.

A lot of fiends and gods were going to the ‘Core of Mechanics’ plane in an attempt to kill the supposedly already extremely weak Acanthe. All the formidable beings from different planes that went to that plane, each and everyone became a specimen hanging in front of the mechanical gate. Over time, there haven’t been anymore formidable beings daring enough to venture into the ‘Core of Mechanics’ plane.

Sixth Dynasty’s mechanical golem legion is ferocious and formidable. If a single warrior-class golem from Sixth Dynasty’s strongest mechanical golem legion casually went to Turandot Subcontinent, it could sweep across the whole Turandot Subcontinent, without finding any-one capable of resisting.

Archer said heavily: “Don’t panic, everyone. Even if he obtained Sixth Dynasty’s mechanical golem legion, the mechanical golem legion at the time already didn’t had much strength. Archduke Fernandro said unhurriedly: “Snake Evil Eyes and White Bear Fangs agreed to ally with us in order to exterminate Yang Ye. I need the parliament’s authorization to mobilize 100,000 Magic Stones to serve as military expenditure.”

Magic Stones are energy crystals that possess a certain type of mysterious force. The standard size of Magic Stones is approximately the size of an adult’s index finger’s knuckle. Magic Stones are treasures used in alchemy, golem research and all kinds of rituals. Magic Stones are also a measuring unit in the world of Warlocks. A Magic Stone’s price is approximately equivalent to 100 Gold Coins or 200,000 Copper Coins. 100,000 Magic Stones are equivalent to 10,000,000 Gold Coins or 20,000,000,000 Copper Coins. Archduke Ferandro requires the parliament’s authorization in order to mobilize such a large sum.

“Approved!”

“Your Majesty, I won’t spare any efforts so that this motion goes through in the parliament!”⁴

Those ministers seconded the motion one after another.

The day after Fernandro’s parliament convened secretly, 100,000 Magic Stones were very quickly mobilized through the motion.

Blood Dragon Mountains were located 100Km to the north of the capital of Fernandro, it’s a vast mountain range enveloped by an endless forest. The Blood Dragon Mountains belong in their entirety to Fernandro Clan – if anyone enters Blood Dragon Mountains, beside those that receive Fernandro Clan’s approval, they will be executed on the spot.

Blood Dragon Mountains are extremely rich in natural resources. Fernandro Clan receives enormous riches from Blood Dragon Mountains every year.

In the depths of Blood Dragon Mountains, within a valley surrounded by several 100m tall mountains – caves of all sizes cover the whole area. Occasionally there are enormous bats flying out of the caverns, they were dyed red as if covered in blood, up to 10m large and have sharp canines.
