Chapter 431 - Warehouse Battle.

In front of an empty warehouse.

Ten men were tied up with clear despair on their faces.

Marshall sighed a relief as he witnessed the monster puppet's corpse being transported to the semi-truck in a glass casket.

Around them, nearly twenty Underworld members watched as the glass casket was being transported with their own eyes.

Once the glass casket was inside the truck's container, the large door closed.

''We are done here.'' One of the Underworld members said without even a hint of respect in his tone. His facial features were scrunched up as he looked at Marshall.

Marshall nodded and waved his hand, ''Let's leave!''

Even though he gave the order, none of the men present listened to them, instead of waiting for their true leader to provide the order.

Marshall gritted his teeth. However, he didn't start stirring trouble with them, even though he was strong enough to defeat them all.

''Let's go.'' A man with sunglasses said and entered the front seat of the truck, while the driver's seat was already occupied by someone else.

One of the Underworld members took their gun out of the holsters and rested the barrel on the tied men's forehead.

The men despaired even more. They wanted to scream for mercy. However, their mouths were covered by a wooden piece.

Marshall averted his gaze and could almost feel the hatred of the tied men. From the moment he showed up in a warehouse, he could tell their hate and disgust toward him.

All his respect was gone. Nothing but scraps were left.

The member of Underworld put his finger on the trigger and was about to pull it.

*SWOOSH*

He perked up his ears after feeling something swooshing through the air. He turned his head and saw a flying hatchet coming straight toward him!

He widened his eyes and couldn't even breathe before the hatchet separated his face in half.

*BAM!*

The hatchet landed on the ground with drops of clear blood dripping down from the sides of the blade.

''Eh?!'' Marshall turned his head around and saw the Underworld member slowly falling down to the ground.

The tied men widened their eyes in shock, and a few got splatters of blood on their faces. However, they didn't grimace, instead felt slight hope!

The rest of the Underworld men took out their guns and aimed toward the endless darkness.

''What is happening?!'' The man with sunglasses opened a window and screamed with anger.

''Som—'' Before Marshall could warn him, he saw an outline of a shadowy figure leaping through the air and crashing through the truck's front mirror!

*CRACK*

The shadowy figure kicked the man in the face, instantly knocking him out.

''What?!'' The man with sunglasses clumsily tried to grab his gun. However, he couldn't make it in time, and the shadowy figure quickly chopped at his neck.

The man with sunglasses felt breathing becoming impossible and felt the consciousness slipping out. He tried to look at the shadowy figure with the last of his willpower but didn't manage to do so and fell unconscious.

The shadowy figure grabbed the driver from the collar and threw him out of the window.

Marshall saw the driver getting thrown out, and he instantly knew that the truck was hijacked!

''FIRE!'' He shouted. However, no one listened to them. They were still waiting for their leader's orders.

''FUCKING FIRE!'' Marshall's hoarse scream rang in the yard of the warehouse.

The tied men looked at him mockingly.

The Underworld members didn't listen and kept their fingers away from the trigger.

Inside the truck.

''Whew…'' The shadowy figure's face was revealed. The man who hijacked the truck was indeed Ichiro!

Ichiro twisted the key and felt the engine revving. He stepped on the gas pedal and started driving the truck!

Behind the truck, the Underworld members finally understood the grave situation they were in and started firing their guns at the truck.

However, Ichiro had no intention of leaving with a truck. He turned the steering wheel and drove straight to the edge of the harbor, toward the water!

''NO!'' Marshall's scream rang behind.

Ichiro opened the door and jumped out of the truck. Once he landed on the ground, he rolled several meters and heard the sound of water splashing.

The truck quickly started sinking, quickly disappearing from the surface.

The Underworld members reloaded their guns and pointed at the shadowy figure, unable to see Ichiro's face under the epitome of darkness.

*BANG!*

Hundreds of bullets flew across the air.

Ichiro turned around and put his two palms forward, ''Steel Edge!''

First time in a long time, Ichiro showed the true prowess of Steel Edge. The bullets that struck his palms were quickly slingshotted away.

In the eyes of the Underworld members, the moment the bullets arrived where the shadowy figure was, they changed directions and missed on purpose.

However, few ones with sharp vision managed to see sparks before they were getting directed in a whole new direction.

Soon, Ichiro stopped moving after no more bullets were left. Around his palm, a trail of smoke flew toward the air.

''W-What?!'' The Underworld members were utterly shocked. They quickly gathered their senses as well as they could and started reloading.

However, Ichiro gathered all his strength on his legs and leaped across the air at that moment.

He landed perfectly in the middle of the twenty Underworld soldiers, and with a simple spinning kick, everyone around him got a strike to their legs, broking their bones in the process.

''ARGH!'' Their screams echoed in the yard, screams of help, mercy, beg, and anger.

Ichiro grabbed the hatchet from the ground and threw it like a boomerang, separating everyone's heads from their necks.

Rain of blood appeared, wetting everyone in dark blood colors.

Marshall's lip trembled, and his screams told him to run far away. However, his legs weren't listening to him.

Ichiro grabbed the flying hatchet and stopped in front of Marshall, his face finally revealed.

''I-I-I…'' Marshall widened his eyes in shock and felt a tremendous amount of hate.

''Why did you return?'' He grabbed the hilt of the hatchet tighter, ''Who ordered you?''

Marshall opened his mouth, but his hate overcame his reasoning, ''Fuck you! You ruined me; I will never tell you!''

''Fine!'' Ichiro swung the hatchet and felt the vibrations coming from the separation of bones, neck, and head.

Marshall's head flew far away to the distance.

Ichiro glanced at the tied-up men, his face still shrouded in darkness in their visions.

The tied men gulped and wondered whether he was here to rescue them or kill them.

Ichiro threw the hatchet toward them and said, ''Use it to cut your ropes.'' After saying so, he leaped across the air and disappeared into the darkness.

Like he was never there.
