Chapter 422 - Destroyed Puppet

''Ugh…'' The Monster Puppet staggered forward without any arms.

Its movement was unnatural, far from Humans.

''D…'' The Monster Puppet stopped and looked up to the helicopter, which was the only sound left.

The familiar red glow appeared in the eyes, brightening the dimly lit street in the color of blood.

The bright light subdued the darkness of the surroundings, and soon, the beam of the laser left the two red dots and flew straight to the helicopter.

The pilot paled and tried to change the helicopter's course away. However, he soon realized that he wouldn't make it in time!

He closed his eyes and waited for the death to embrace him.

The camera captured the laser beam flying straight toward them.

The cameraman paled and shouted internally, 'I am cameraman! I am supposed to be immortal while wielding the majestic camera, but why do I feel like I will die if the laser beam hits me?!'

The News Anchor dropped down the microphone, ''Mommy?''

Citizens of Irio covered their eyes; they didn't want to see the screen becoming dark and knowing that they had died.

However, when the laser was only a moment away from hitting them and killing them.

A black blur appeared in the laser's way and tanked it with his body!

The beam of laser struck him in the chest and started cutting through his skin.

The News Anchor paled, and everyone watching the TV.

Seeing the dark-clothed figure protecting them made everyone sure of his side; however, in their eyes, it looked like he was only a moment away from dying.

Ichiro gritted his teeth and slowly mumbled, ''True… Iron… Style, Iron Death's Fourth Move, Suicide!''

Once the laser started attacking his bones, the effectiveness started fading away at scary speed!

''G!'' The Monster Puppet seemed to be shocked and watched how his majestic attack was slowly fading away from existence.

Ichiro landed softly on the ground with his flesh around the chest, smoking.

Even though the pain was still present, he ignored it to the best of his abilities and was already rushing toward the Monster Puppet.

The Monster Puppet made an attack he had not done since the start of the fight; he did a shallow kick, the bottom of his feet touching the destroyed ground.

Ichiro saw how amateurish the Monster Puppet's techniques were, like children trying to mimic his movements.

That was another mistake while programming Monster Puppet.

Unable to do proper techniques or attacks.

Ichiro did a quick front flip and jumped over the leg.

With the same motion, he wrapped his arms around the Monster Puppet's throat and slammed him down to the ground!

The back of Monster Puppet's head crashed on the ground, causing apparent damage to the interior.

The Monster Puppet was trying to get rid of Ichiro. However, it was unsuccessful.

Ichiro touched the face and saw the red light reappearing.

''Because of you…'' Even though the deadly laser was about to be unleashed, he wasn't in a hurry, ''I now know… My True Iron Style is powerful enough to fight against Martial Generals without the help of High Human…''

The Monster Puppet stopped for a moment, trying to register the words.

However, Ichiro raised his arm and slammed his hand down to the Monster Puppet's head.

*CRACK!*

Once again, he raised his arm and slammed it down.

Up and down.

At first, the Monster Puppet kept flinching until soon; he stopped moving with his head missing.

In front of Ichiro, the destroyed head was laying on the ground. However, not even one piece was intact.

The light inside Monster Puppet died down.

''Haahh…'' Ichiro shakily stood up and sat right on top of the Monster Puppet's chest.

People in the helicopter widened their eyes in fear and thought that the Monster Puppet would stand up and become even angrier; however, no sign of movement was seen.

''I-Is it dead?'' The News Anchor mumbled loud enough for the citizens of Irio to hear from their TVs.

''Not sure, but gas is about to run low!'' The pilot said with a hurry and controlled the helicopter masterfully through the buildings and soon, was already flying far away from the police station.

Around Ichiro, the destroyed Police Station was only standing with the help of two barely intact pillars.

Inside the station, flames were raging.

Around the area, the ground and multiple buildings were crumbled into pieces.

Soon, Ichiro's relaxation came to an end.

*CRASH!*

Something crashed on the ground only ten meters away from him.

''What?!'' Ichiro stood up and went into his fighting stance. However, when the dust cleared, he saw an unconscious woman.

The woman had a beautiful body and would be a top-class model, but her face was an abomination.

On her face, a fist mark covered her whole face, the nose had broken, and her teeth were missing.

She had signs of light in her eyes, and she seemed to know where she was; however, she couldn't move.

She couldn't even lift her finger.

''Are you alrig—'' Ichiro was about to ask but earned a cold glare from her like she wanted to eat him alive.

He frowned and snorted, ''Fine then.''

''Haha, she is such a bitch, ain't she?'' Out of nowhere, a voice came from above.

Ichiro flinched and went back into his fighting stance.

In the air, he saw a man floating with a grin.

'He is floating…' His figure went stiff, and his face serious. He knows that everyone who can float is above Martial Kings.

'But… How strong?'

Finn Fullhouse landed next to the injured woman and rubbed the bottom of his shoe on her bloodied face.

The woman couldn't do anything except taste the dirt from his shoes.

Since she was born, she hadn't felt such humiliation.

She was treated like a princess, which made her both arrogant and narcissistic.

''Anyway.'' Finn grabbed a card from his back pocket and threw it to Ichiro.

Ichiro grabbed it with a swift swipe of his hand and saw the number 9 on the card.

''Congratulations. You are Rank 9 in Secret Geniuses rankings, kukuku.'' Finn laughed while touching the woman's head.

Ichiro widened his eyes in shock, 'He is part of… Island of Grandmasters?'

Under his astonished gaze, he saw the woman turning smaller and smaller under Finn's touch.

Once, the woman was tinier than one of his fingers.

Finn grabbed a tiny glass bottle from his jacket and moved the miniature woman inside.

''Hehe.'' He clinked the bottle with his index finger and watched how the woman kept crashing on the glass walls.

''Well, my job is done.'' He slowly started floating away and glanced at Ichiro while doing so, ''Goodbye~.''
