Chapter 376 - Disciple Hao

Ichiro walked in the streets with his hands in his pockets.

Around him, the excited younger generation was walking with no goal in mind.

There were even family members of the younger generation with them.

The dojo itself was quite large, enough to fit over fifty youths easily.

At the end of the dojo were four doors.

Every now and then, two individuals entered one of the rooms and had a sparring match while one of the teachers was watching over them.

Ichiro entered the dojo and took off his shoes.

Next to the door were shoe racks.

He put his shoes on one of them and walked with his socks inside the dojo.

Few youths glanced at him but soon continued their own training.

Few noticed the shiny silver ring on his finger.

The white-robed teachers saw the black-haired youth but didn't mind his presence.

But, few looked surprised to see one of the Chosen Ones coming into the dojo after exhausting tests.

That changed their opinion about the black-haired youth, and they knew that he was a very hardworking fellow.

Most of the Chosen Ones were sleeping and resting, but not him, which told a lot about his personality.

They didn't know that Ichiro wasn't feeling as tired as others were. Most of the white-robed teachers were part of the ones who made the tests..

They knew how difficult it was to stay awake during the difficult night and especially to stay in the same posture.

Ichiro walked past a few training dummies and stopped in front of a padded striking post.

He trailed his finger on it and squeezed the padding.

''Excuse me, are you one of the Chosen Ones?'' While he was testing the paddings, a voice came behind him.

''Yes, who is asking?'' Ichiro didn't turn back but instead touched the padding with his strong fist.

''My name is Disciple Hao.'' The green-robed disciple bowed respectfully. He had a bald head, which almost shone under the sun.

His face didn't have any unique features. Instead, it was very dull and boring-looking.

''Can I have a sparring match with you?'' Disciple Hao asked and glanced at the silver ring with a hungry gaze.

Ichiro stopped touching the padded striking post and asked, ''Why?''

''I want to test my strength against Chosen One!'' Disciple Hao struck his palm with his fist and shouted powerfully, ''I am 16 years old and Middle Martial Captain!''

His chin was raised slightly in pride.

He has been heard for a long time that his talent was excellent.

''Mmm…'' Ichiro turned around and saw Disciple Hao's proud face.

''Fine… Show me the way.'' He followed behind excited Disciple Hao and entered the first sparring room.

Behind them, a white-robed teacher followed.

The sparring room was 10 meters long with wooden floors, without any windows.

Ichiro put his two arms in front of him, both hands clenched in fists.

His back was hunched, and it looked like he was in a defensive posture.

'Why is he going on the defensive?' Disciple Hao thought with a frown.

But, the white-robed teacher knew that it wasn't Ichiro's intention.

'Don't fall for it…' He thought while looking at the Disciple Hao.

But, Disciple Hao fell for it.

'Fine… I will be the one attacking then!' His right leg's muscles twitched, and he lunged forwards!

His figure moved like a streak of lightning as it only took him a second to reach the attacking range.

''Fist!'' He shouted and punched forwards.

'Ordinary punch, nothing special.' Ichiro frowned and put his forearm as a block.

*POW!*

The fist struck the forearm, but neither of them seemed to have the upper hand.

''Ah!'' But then, a grunt of pain escaped Disciple Hao's mouth as he felt his hand almost breaking!

''Kick!'' He shouted and did a low kick, which Ichiro effortlessly blocked.

''Grr!'' Disciple Hao gritted his teeth as he felt his leg almost breaking!

'His body is so tough!'

Ichiro pushed Disciple Hao's arm away, making his posture a mess.

''Oh!'' Disciple Hao staggered a few meters behind before stabilizing himself, but that took more time than he wished.

Ichiro's fist was already upon him!

''DAMN!'' Disciple Hao anxiously put his arms as a block, but Ichiro's fist effortlessly broke the block and sent a powerful strike on his torso.

''UGH!'' Disciple Hao fell down on his knees with a fist-sized mark on his chest.
