Chapter 318: Abyss’ Last Stand.

*BAM!*

Abyss punched through the window but didn't stop there. He targeted the nearby figure, who had a messy-looking haircut and missing his left ear.

Ichiro, Adamas, and Xenor were startled after a sudden appearance of Abyss.

Adamas paled and saw Abyss' cold-looking eyes looking straight at him; he realized that he was the target!

He tried to block the attack, but he already knew that it was useless, and it indeed was.

Abyss' punch broke Adamas' arms, which he put as a block, but that wasn't the end.

His punch struck Adamas' face, making his skull crack.

''PFFT!'' Adamas spat out a mouthful of blood as he was sent flying through multiple walls. His face seemed unnatural after the sudden appearance of a massive fist mark, which made his face cave in.

Xenor widened his eyes in horror and started trembling like a newborn baby.

But, Abyss' focus wasn't him; instead… on Aether!

*CRACK!*

Suddenly, a wall cracked, and a man with an enraged face appeared!

It was Supreme Leader!

''Abyss!'' He roared angrily and unleashed his black-coated fist, aiming straight at Abyss.

But, Abyss didn't care; instead, he touched Aether's body with his arm covered in lightning.

Soon, Aether's body turned into a bolt of lightning and disappeared from the corridor. In the sky, a bolt of lightning was seen flying far away in the distance.

Abyss sadly smiled, but he was happy enough to see his son's face potentially for last time.

He took a glimpse of bloodied Ichiro and became saddened after knowing that he didn't have enough time to teleport him away.

*SMACK!*

Supreme Leader's fist struck Abyss' face, which made a rain of blood appear!

''Pfft!'' Abyss fell down on the ground with his whole face colored in red.

''Haahhh… Fucking bastard!'' Supreme Leader, with anger, started kicking Abyss' torso, quickly breaking every bone in his body.

Ichiro paled and watched as Abyss was ruthlessly beaten up, almost looking unrecognizable after only a few kicks.

Supreme Leader slammed his foot into Abyss' face and started moving it back and forth, completely humiliating Humanity's Hope.

Abyss stayed silent the entire time, not even leaving a cry of pain. His face looked emotionless, with his eyes barely staying open and a pool of blood appearing around him.

''H-Hahahaha…'' Xenor, after getting rid of his fear, started laughing louder than ever before after seeing a legendary moment right in front of his eyes.

''Take the camera.'' Supreme Leader said coldly, ''It is time for the world to see how pathetic their Humanity's Hope was.''

''Yes, Supreme Leader!'' Xenor saluted with excitement and started going through his pockets before finding a small camera that was small enough to fit in his palm.

He aimed the camera towards Abyss' face and was about to take a picture, but then…

A streak of silver appeared and smashed the camera into pieces!

''Don't you dare!'' Ichiro's enraged shout was heard, and without further ado, he changed the grip of his spear and thrusted it towards Xenor's heart.

''BASTARD!'' Xenor grabbed the spear's blade with his hand, without any effort, and angrily grabbed Ichiro from his throat and slammed him into the wall.

The corridor's walls cracked and were only an inch away from completely falling apart.

''UGH!'' Ichiro grunted in pain and soon felt the bones around his neck cracking. He also felt the blood moving through his throat all the way to his mouth, which was a very uncomfortable feeling.

''Tsk.'' Supreme Leader clicked his tongue and saw Abyss trying to move his fingers; his face showed absolute determination to save Ichiro.

''Hmm, is he important to you?'' A disgusting grin appeared on his face as he looked at Ichiro's bloodied face, ''Die knowing that this young man… Will have miserable days ahead of him.''

''N…'' Abyss tried to mutter his words but couldn't finish his sentence. It was an impossible task for him, but it was clear what he was trying to say.

''Can you rest in the afterlife knowing that there will be so many suffering because of your incompetence?'' With calm steps, he approached Ichiro with his grin becoming bigger and bigger.

''Heh.'' Xenor chuckled as he saw Ichiro's hateful glare, ''More you hate me, more satisfaction I get from torturing you.''

''Ptui!'' Ichiro spat out the blood from his mouth, which landed in Xenor's face.

''Fuck!'' Xenor had to let go of Ichiro as he started wiping the bloodstains from his wrinkly face.

Ichiro rubbed his painful throat and saw Supreme Leader's tall figure standing a meter away from him with an amused smile.

''You are like a rabid dog.'' Supreme Leader wiped his hands and said, ''You know what we do to rapid dogs? We will put them down.''

''Try me, bitch!'' Ichiro shouted and threw the spear straight towards Supreme Leader's face.

''Heh.'' Supreme Leader tilted his head and watched with amusement as the spear flew past his head and landed on the ground, right next to Abyss.

Abyss shakily turned his bloodied face and saw his reflection from the spear's blade.

The reflection showed a face of man with bloodied face, who truly looked unrecognizable, without any sign of his handsome self left, instead only abomination.

*Crackling*

His eyes soon widened his eyes in shock as he saw the blade crackling in lightning; it was like the spear was telling him to use it.

''Was that your ultimate move?'' Supreme Leader asked and saw Ichiro going into a fighting stance, ''Oh, you want to fight me?''

With obvious mocking, he went into a fighting style, but it was very sloppy, like amateurs. His face showed his contempt towards the Martial Arts and made fun of Ichiro at the same time.

*BAM!*

Ichiro took a powerful step forwards, and his muscles started bulging, but that wasn't the end…

After Xenor finished wiping the bloodstains, he opened his eyes and saw Ichiro fighting against his Supreme Leader, but his face showed obvious ridicule, but soon, that face changed into a shock.

Ichiro's muscles started changing colors, turning into an almost metallic texture with a greyish hue.

''Eh? Half-Step Martial King.'' Supreme Leader frowned, ''What the hell?''

''Prime Kurogami Ichiro's True Iron Style, Iron Lance!'' His hand, which turned into a spear-like stance, almost looked like a proper lance!

Even the outline of a blade was seen, but it wasn't complete, but the terrifying strength erupting from it couldn't be underestimated.

''HAAAAH!'' Ichiro's powerful shout rang in everyone's ears as he unleashed his powerful strike!

Xenor felt chills seeing the attack, 'Could I survive that attack?' He instantly knew that Ichiro could not be left alive!

*BAM!*

Ichiro gritted his teeth and felt his hand breaking; the reason was simple.

Supreme Leader effortlessly blocked the strike by grabbing Ichiro's wrist, which also had a metallic texture.

He used his thumb and touched Ichiro's skin.

''Metal… You are Half-Step Martial King?'' Supreme Leader's face turned solemn, ''I see… Abyss has kept a monster like you well hidden.'' He grabbed even tighter and crushed Ichiro's hand!

''AAAAAAAARGH!'' Ichiro's scream of anguish was heard clearly.

Supreme Leader grinned, ''Hmm, be happy, I don't think I will torture you after all… Instead, I will just kill you.''

He put his hand on Ichiro's throat, ''Any last words?'' He was ready to crush Ichiro's throat with a simple squeeze.

''Yes…'' Ichiro replied with a pain-filled tone and slowly said, ''Y-Y-You are dead…''

''Eh?'' Supreme Leader narrowed his eyes.

But then he heard Xenor's scream, ''SUPREME LEADER, WATCH OUT!''

*SPURT!*

Supreme Leader widened his eyes in horror; something sharp pierced through his body and heart.

''How is the pain?'' Abyss' bone-chilling voice came behind him. He was pushing the Spearless forwards with his last remaining willpower.

''B-Bastard!'' A blood gushed out of Supreme Leader's mouth as he angrily turned his head towards Abyss, ''Y-Y-YOU!''

Abyss, with tired eyes, looked towards Ichiro and said, ''Ichiro… Take care of Azura…''

''Eh?'' Ichiro slowly widened his eyes in shock as he saw Abyss suddenly grabbing Supreme Leader from his arm.

''GRAAAAH!'' Supreme Leader moved his hands in extreme panic and wanted to crush Abyss' head, but then… Both of them turned into bolts of lightning and disappeared from the corridor.

Ichiro fell down on his knees and saw Spearless lying on the ground right in front of him.

Tiny teardrops trickled down from his eyes, with disbelief filling his face.

Abyss' last words were ringing on his ears as he had a hunch what he was planning to do…
