Chapter 306: Ichiro Vs. The Ones Who Are Hiding In The Dark.

Earth cracked, and buildings crashed. Ichiro was looking at the scene of two godly beings fighting with their lives on the line.

A streak of lightning was flashing in the sky, making the previous dark night change colors every now and then.

Around Ichiro, the buildings were falling down, making a loud ruckus and debris fly around recklessly.

''Hey, someone is here!'' Ichiro turned his head and saw a couple of black-robed figures standing on top of debris while pointing at him before they started running with their swords ready to kill!

''Sh*t!'' Ichiro went into his fighting stance and cursed his luck.

[Host, I suggest running away, right now!]

Suddenly, Ichiro heard the System's voice, which he hadn't heard for quite some time.

''Sorry, but that is not an option.'' Ichiro gazed towards the sky, where Abyss was fighting with his whole being.

Two black-robed figures swung their swords in hopes of beheading Ichiro with one swift strike.

''Third Direction of Redirecting, Steel Edge!'' Ichiro moved his two hands in perfect motion and struck the sides of the blades, just enough to not hurt himself but also enough to deflect the sword strikes to miss his body.

The black-robed figures looked surprised before continuing their onslaught.

Ichiro quickly jumped backward and looked at his knuckles, and surprisingly they were bleeding just from redirecting their attacks!

This has never happened to him before, and even after doing hand condition training, it seemed ineffective against them!

Maybe without his training… The outcome would have been much worse.

The System screamed in his mind, and it made sure for Ichiro that the current situation was far from favorable.

The black-robed figures moved in the same rhythm like they had trained for years together.

The first figure unleashed his sword strike at Ichiro's leg, while the second aimed at the neck.

Ichiro saw everything on slow-mo. He saw the terrifying smirks the black-robed figures had underneath their hoods, and there wasn't an inch of pity on their eyes.

It was like killing was a daily thing for them.

The sound of Abyss and unknown individual fighting was clear as the sky… At once in a while, he heard a groan of pain, which sounded like Abyss' voice.

That made everything clear for Ichiro. This situation was the most dangerous one he had ever been on.

In his previous life, he had control of things because of his strength.

But in here… There are people stronger than him in every place he visits.

Even going to the grocery, he might see someone who could defeat him in the fight.

It was something he never expected.

'System… Listen to me very closely…' Ichiro's thought while the two deadly swords strikes were about to touch his clothes.

'Listen and do everything I say, and do it quickly!' Ichiro did an insanely quick jab with his right arm and struck it squarely on the second figure's chin.

''Uuwww!'' The second figure stumbled back while holding his painful chin.

Ichiro quickly raised his left leg and barely dodged the sword strike.

The first figure tried to change the direction of his sword strike, but then Ichiro's kick landed on his shoulder, making him slide a couple of meters before coming to a stop.

''Hmm…'' The second figure simply rubbed his chin and felt only a sting of pain, but now, even that pain is gone.

The first figure felt nothing and was already ready to continue attacking.

The System said with seriousness and was ready to help Ichiro in every way possible.

Ichiro smirked and put his right arm forwards with an open palm, ''Spearless!''

His palm glowed for a second before an item started forming, and it became longer and longer until it was 2 meters long, with the shaft being in color of silver with golden shade on the sides.

''He has Spatial Ring! Luckyyy!'' The first figure grinned and became greedy.

Even the second figure looked greedy and almost drooled at the sight.

'Buy one Legendary Healing Potion and 20 Epic Healing Potions, also… Buy Rare Killing Blow…'

'Buy them and put them on Inventory… When I say the name of Healing Potion, give it to me from the Inventory.' Ichiro was done with his preparations and was ready to fight a battle, which would definitely bring him to the brink of death.

The sword's blade struck the spear's shaft, and neither side seemed to be winning, but that would be the case if Ichiro was fighting one guy.

The first figure reappeared behind Ichiro and stabbed his sword forwards, aiming straight at Ichiro's heart.

''Grrr!'' Ichiro anxiously gritted his teeth and pushed the spear forwards, which pushed the second figure backward, only a little bit, but it was enough for Ichiro to turn around and swing his spear towards the incoming blade!

*Clank!*

The spear's blade sent the incoming blade to the left, making the attack hit its mark with a large margin.

Ichiro quickly used all his strength on his leg muscles and leaped backward, just in time to dodge the terrifying attack of the second black-robed figure.

The black-robed figures expected Ichiro to have a defeated look, but that was not what happened.

Ichiro stood straight with his spear on his right hand, looking like a majestic general, ready to face death without an inch of fear on his face.
