Chapter 114.1: Practice Match Part 1.

Next Day.

A bus was heading to the High School of Fighting.

A group of 15 young men and a few young girls was sitting solemnly.

There was also a middle-aged man sitting in the front seat; his muscular body almost ripped his shirt off. He had a short beard with an average-looking face, his name is Markus, and he is their coach.

Behind a middle-aged man, three young men were sitting.

They are three main fighters of Secondary High School of Fighting.

The Captain of the team had short brown hair with sharp eyebrows and brown eyes. His facial features were above-average, could be called as handsome even. His body type was definitely built for combat, not as good as Ichiro's, but still incredibly flexible. His name is Soru.

Next to him, a young man with blond hair and blue eyes. His facial features were quite ordinary, with a small scar on his forehead. His body type was leaner, he was Co-Captain of the team, his name is Aryu.

Behind them, their third member was sitting; he had a bored look on his face and extreme arrogance. He had ear piercings and nose piercings. His body type wasn't built for combat or lean; it was pretty ordinary. His name is Raynold.

''Coach…'' Soru opened his mouth, ''What is the point of this match? Even if we are fighting against their Recruit Fighters, we will probably still lose.''

Raynold snorted, ''Nice confidence you have, oh Captain. We are only fighting against three 16-year-old brats.''

''Those 'brats' are Kings, and they are at the same rank as us,'' Aryu said with displeasure.

Raynold snorted and crossed his arms.

Markus turned his head towards them, ''This will be good for your future. You all were rejected to join that school and instead were put into Secondary School.

''I know that you all are geniuses in your hometown or cities, but your future will be limited if you only stay in the Secondary school. That's why this is a good chance to show what you got, and maybe they will invite you to join their school. Even if you are only one year in that school, it is still extremely important for your future.''

Soru and Aryu nodded solemnly.

Raynold snorted.

Their bus exited the streets and entered the area of the High School of Fighting.

They were let inside the school premises, and their bus instantly gathered a lot of attention.

Most of the students on the bus got very timid. Everyone who got accepted to the High School of Fighting is a greater genius than them, and their school is a place for the so-called Mediocre Talents.

Soru, Aryu, and Raynold didn't get timid, they have got a lot of mockery from the people of this school, and they aren't affected anymore.

Markus was the first one to leave the bus, and the main fighters followed behind him.

Then the rest of the members of their Martial Arts Club left the bus.

Not all of the members from their Martial Arts Club came here.

There are hundreds of them, and they all would never fit.

Markus started walking towards the Martial Arts Club while enduring the gazes from students of the High School of Fighting.

The Martial Arts Club building was packed with people.

There are also hundreds of chairs surrounding the Center Arena, where the practice match was about to be held.

This is still a school day for everyone.

This is a class called Fighting Experience.

It is important for students to improve their knowledge about Martial Captain rank and about the fighting itself.

That's why everyone in First-year is joining to watch the match, but no one from the second and third year, because they have other things to do.

Markus' and other figures caught everyone's attention.

They walked to their designated seats which were in the first row.

They sat down, looked forward, and saw the Recruit Fighters for the High School of Fighting.

Their figures instantly gave invisible pressure for them.

Soru, Aryu, and Raynold narrowed their eyes.

Rafael crossed his arms, his aura soaring to the ceiling.

Sariel was confident as always. He was chosen to be the Captain for this fight, which is an incredible honor.

Ichiro kept yawning; he stayed up too late because he was chatting with Azura till 1 A.M.

Raynold's eyebrow twitched; he thought that Ichiro was making fun of them.

Giron stood up and walked towards Markus.

''Markus.'' Giron nodded.

Markus smiled and stood up; he shook hands with Giron, ''Giron, long time no see.''

Giron nodded and looked at the Main Fighters, ''So, these three are your new Main Fighters.''

Markus smiled and nodded, ''I am sure they will bring some challenge.''

Giron chuckled and nodded, ''That would be good. I wish you guys can manage to lessen their arrogance.''

Markus chuckled, ''How bad are they?''

''Not that bad… Much better compared to last years, but very competitive.'' Giron said while looking at Ichiro, Rafael, and Sariel.

But then his eyebrow twitched, ''ICHIRO! FOR FUCK SAKE!''

Markus flinched and looked towards the black-haired young man who fell asleep.

Giron gritted his teeth, ''I am sorry, but I have to excuse myself.''

Rafael and Sariel facepalmed.

Giron stomped towards Ichiro and grabbed his ear, ''WAKE UP!''

Ichiro's eyes opened slightly, ''Mommy, 5 more minutes…''

Giron's eyebrow twitched; he lifted Ichiro up from the chair and threw him to the ground.

''Oww!'' Ichiro groaned in pain; now he was fully awake.

He stood up and patted the dust off his pants.

Giron's eyebrow twitched once again.

Ichiro stood up and sat down on his chair, acting like nothing had happened.

Giron's pointed his shaky finger towards Ichiro, but then he gave up.

Ichiro is a hopeless case.

Ichiro yawned once again and, with the corner of his eyes, saw a laughing black-haired girl who also looked slightly tired.

Ichiro narrowed his eyes while looking at Azura.

Azura whistled, acting like she didn't laugh.

''Ichiro…'' Sariel said.

''Yes, captain?'' Ichiro said innocently.

Sariel pointed his finger towards one angry-looking young man.

Ichiro looked at Raynold who was gritting his teeth hatefully.

Raynold put his finger on his neck and made a throat-slitting gesture.

Ichiro narrowed his eyes.

''It seems that he wants to fight with you,'' Sariel said.

Ichiro nodded, ''Captain, may I have the first turn?''

Sariel thought for a moment, and nodded, ''Go for it.''

Ichiro grinned and looked towards Raynold.
