Fortunately, Ruan Qiuqiu made it outside in time. As soon as she stumbled out of the cave, she saw that her fallen animal skin bag was half-opened and a small, ugly bird was pecking at a piece of jerky that had fallen out of the bag.

She sat on the side of the bed and listened to Mr. Big Bad Wolf’s increasingly weak breathing before going outside to wash her hands with the melted fresh snow.
