Huo Xishen did not reply and instead, gave Yang Qing a warning with an ambiguous meaning. He then instructed the bodyguard to stop the two of them before entering the elevator and leaving.

Leng Yuxi stared at the descending elevator and gritted her teeth in anger, “Aunt, what is Xishen doing here?”

“Hmph, what else can he be here for? He’s here to threaten me for that bitch.”

“Xishen threatened you?” Leng Yuxi was a little surprised. “What did he threaten you with? Aunt, does he have any evidence against you?”

Yang Qing then realized that she had had a slip of the tongue and thus said somewhat sheepishly, “No, not at all. He just threatened me with the company. Don’t worry, this time I will definitely tarnish Yan Jinyi’s reputation.”

‘I have so many family members to support her while Yan Jinyi had nothing. What can she do to fight with me?’

Tang Qing looked up and made eye contact with Yan Jinyi with a warm and gentle smile. “Jinyi, we’re on a date now. Wouldn’t it seem too distant if I call you Miss Yan?”

“Jinyi, you and I have been through so much, how can we not be close to each other?”
