Chapter 48 - 48: Acting Like A Retard When You're Already 19 Years Old

Huo Qingyuan was fuming mad. Although she initially wanted to say that she didn't want to eat, her stomach began rumbling as soon as she was about to.

To her surprise, her food had been prepared in the kitchen.

Huo Qingyuan sat at the side by herself and started eating some porridge quietly.

Yan Jinyi was seated on the main seat and playing some games while Huo Zihang, the man who was over 1.8 meters tall, was still drinking his half-finished cup of milk tea.

He suddenly said, "Get me another cup of milk tea tomorrow, it tastes pretty good."

As he spoke, he waved the cup in front of Huo Qingyuan smugly like he was showing it off. "Yan Jinyi bought this milk tea for me, it tastes great."

Huo Qingyuan rolled her eyes.

After hearing those words, Yan Jinyi felt rather embarrassed, which was rare of her.

'I didn't buy it especially for you. I just couldn't finish it on my own...'

"You're still in college, huh? Huo Zihang will send you to school tomorrow."

Seeing that Huo Qingyuan was almost done with the food, she stretched her back and stood up. "I heard that your grades are always at the bottom of your cohort. That's pretty embarrassing for the Huo Family."

If not for the Huo Family's status, would Huo Qingyuan have made it to Shenyang University?

"My grades have nothing to do with you. Yan Jinyi, don't be smug. You're just throwing your weight around because no one else is at home."

The servants on night duty were hiding in the kitchen with the butler, holding their breaths.

"Huo Zihang, where's my feather duster?"

'Feather duster?'

Huo Zihang looked at Huo Qingyuan who was still standing in front of the table, silently prayed for her, and then scurried over to get the feather duster.

Seeing Huo Zihang hand the feather duster to Yan Jinyi, Huo Qingyuan somehow began to get nervous. "What are you trying to do? Yan Jinyi, are you thinking of hitting me?"

If Huo Qingyuan was not a member of the Huo Family, looked uglier, or was a boy, she would have hit her without any qualms.

With a sullen expression, Yan Jinyi knocked the feather duster against the table, making shuffling sounds.

The feather duster landed at a distance that was less than the size of a fist away from Huo Qingyuan's face. She could even feel the wind that was caused by the feather duster when Yan Jinyi swung it.

"You're already 19 years old, but you're acting like a retard. If you don't know what to say, just shut up, or else, this feather duster will land on you next."
