Chapter 272: Fun is short-lived

When going to the restaurant, Noah had to use the car. Unfortunately blessed Rank C did not have the right to use monsters as a mount outside the residential area of ??the family they belonged to, as this could create a lot of chaos in case the blessed decide to fight, or monsters don't get along with each other. It is known among the world for the strength of Rank D and Rank C monsters. A single Rank C monster was powerful enough to destroy an entire neighborhood on its own if it wanted to, so to avoid this, it became forbidden to walk with such powerful monsters in the city.

Of course, should an emergency situation arise, Noah won't mind these rules and will simply call the unicorn, or just use his wings to fly over the houses.

So Noah used his car to drive to the restaurant.

Once there, just like the last time he was here, there were numerous luxury cars parked outside the restaurant.

"Hey, Noah? Do you drive an Aston Martin DBS? I thought you would be more of a man who drives an exotic car, like a McLaren. I prefer the classic Aston Martin hehe." An excited female voice said as she looked at Noah's car.

Noah didn't know what to say, this appearance was completely different from what he was used to. This excited girl was precisely the young Healer of their invasion team!

The girl who was always shy in the fortress, and concerned about the blessed others, actually drove a BMW M8? This is the type of car that most owners are male.

As BMW cars are often focused more on performance than aesthetics, girls tend to like brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, or other flashier brands more. Seeing the shy fortress girl talking so excitedly as she got out of a BMW M8 left Noah more than surprised.

As Noah finally broke his poker face with an expression of surprise, the girl finally understood what had happened and her cheeks turned pink with embarrassment.

"That...I'm sorry..." The girl said as she used her hands to hide the embarrassment on her face. "My dad is a huge car fan, so that passion was passed on to me. When I talk about cars I practically turn into someone else."

"Pfft..." Hearing this Noah couldn't help but start laughing.

"Don't laugh…I'm ashamed of that." The girl said with even more embarrassment to see Noah laugh at her.

"I'm not laughing because it's embarrassing, I think it's kind of cute. It's beautiful to see excited people talking about their likes and dreams, don't hide it, be proud." Noah stopped laughing and responded with a confident smile.

Hearing these words from Noah, the girl who was once so embarrassed, was now a little more relieved internally, but her face turned even redder in embarrassment to see Noah smiling at her so openly.

"Let's go in, they're waiting for us." She said as she threw the key to the valet and ran into the restaurant without looking back.

Noah saw her reaction and thought it was cute, so he kept a small smile in the corner of his face and followed the girl into the luxurious restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, Noah noticed that today there were even more people there, to the point where there was not even a table left.

"Noah! Finally our young prodigy has arrived! And he still came with our little fairy? You're the same age, is something going on between you?" The bearded man stood up and greeted Noah as he made a joke.

This joke made the other blessed laugh while the young healer was even more embarrassed about it. But no one cared, their current mood was one of festivity, they gained today the equivalent of three work forts, which was reason to celebrate a lot.

When Noah sat down, each of the blessed poured a glass of drink for him, for them to drink together and toast that this blessed young man had joined them in today's fortress, as they knew that this reward for all would not happen if Noah was not there, and quite possibly someone could have died in the fortress, with many others wounded.

Noah accepted every freebie, as socializing was essential for everyone. Noah noticed that among these people there were several different personalities, some quiet and cold like the archer of the group, some quiet and shy like the young healer of the team, and noisy people like the bearded man, but there was something in common between them all. Apparently everyone there was good people, unprejudiced and willing to talk equally with anyone, from the waiter who served them, or the most powerful blessed they could find.

Noah even found out during this lunch that the 24-year-old team leader was actually the nephew of one of the Khan family elders, but because he has only one Rank C blessing, he doesn't like to get too much attention, or stay comparing himself with other young people.

In the Khan family there are few B-rank blesseds, and most of them are blessed who were born into the Khan family and develop from there, largely belonging to the families of the Elders of the family.

And seeing how the leader didn't like to brag or depend on his uncle's name made Noah respect the young man even more.

Even though he only had one Rank C blessing, he could consume enough essences to match up with the Rank B Fake blesseds, so it wouldn't be something to be ashamed of in the future, he would just need to survive several invasions and slowly develop. It was a more dangerous path, but it also had many benefits.
