Chapter 251: Alpha

"Noah, shine again!" The captain shouted.

Noah quickly understood what he meant, which is just kill as many monsters as possible as best you can, so that's what Noah did.

Without saying anything, 8 pentagrams appeared on the ground in front of Noah and 8 imps came out.

Although these imps had consumed some Rank C essences, their strength that was once Rank E could now barely be considered Rank D, so they couldn't be much help, but it's still better than nothing as they could serve. as shields of flesh for the blessed.

Ordering the imps to attack, Noah began attacking as well. This time he already knew the best way to get this over with as quickly as possible, so he started teleporting.

Luckily he had set fire to the 12 wolves, and even though slowly, the flames in each of them were building, generating more and more mana for Noah. And with the alpha now having become a wolf of fire, Noah's mana was recovering even faster.

But the wolf wasn't an unreasonable alpha, even though his body was completely incinerated, he acted as if nothing was happening, enduring the pain of having his own soul burned, just to kill this human in front of him.

In the blink of an eye, the wolf was in front of Noah, maintaining 100% physical form so as not to be so affected by the flames, the wolf intending to bite Noah, even if it took a powerful attack.

But that was where a spatial blessing showed all the power it had.

*Bamf*

Noah disappeared from the wolf's front, making the monster's attack miss and leaving him confused for a split second but before he could understand what was happening, a slight feeling of heat rose in his back, much masked by the burning body, until suddenly the alpha felt his back being torn apart by the claws of some monster far more powerful than he was.

Instinctively the alpha shifted back to ethereal form to keep those claws from penetrating his flesh further, but that only caused the fire to further corrode his soul, increasing the pain this alpha felt even more.

Turning to see what stupid monster had attacked him, the alpha was shocked to see Noah with his hands blazing, and those flames formed a perfectly pointed claw shape the alpha had never seen before.

At that point the alpha regretted it. He realized that he shouldn't have come to attack these humans, if he knew there was someone that powerful, he would decidedly refuse the order he received to come and kill them.

But Noah didn't care about the wolf's thinking, increasing mana production for the control and intensity of this fire around the wolf to get even stronger, the flames finally began to deeply erode this alpha's flesh, entering the eyes, nose, mouth and ears, all 7 orifices of this wolf's head served as a gateway for these flames to end his life, in the most painful way possible.

Noah just needed a teleport at just the right time to finish off this agility-focused monster. Luckily this monster stat wasn't as high as Shadow S's, plus the quadruped body also didn't give the wolf much room to dodge Noah's attacks, causing him to die very quickly.

That was the advantage of having a lot of Strength, as long as Noah could hit a single attack, the power of that alone would be much more effective than one blessed with agility hitting three or four other weaker attacks.

Because of the difference in strength, Noah felt his tails easily cut into the wolf's hide and flesh as if a great sword were used to cut vegetables.

Noah let the flames burn the alpha's corpse and teleported again.

*Bamf*

He disappeared from where he was and continued carrying out this strategy to kill the wolves very quickly.

With the imps serving as distractions, the wolves weren't even able to do any serious damage to the humans, just small scratches that would be quickly healed by the team's Healer.

Noah alone had killed 4 wolves while the rest of the team had killed the other 8.

In the alpha wolf's head was an essence of agility, which the team had to hand over to the blessed Rank B. Noah thought about trying to hide it to give to the imps, but it would be a very risky thing with far more risks than gains.

So Noah just waited to get to the castle, there he would have more opportunities to feed his imps with essences.

As for the corpses, no one cared that Noah wanted to burn these things, they knew people who controlled fire had a tendency to be a little pyromaniac, so no one cared about Noah's weird behavior.
