Chapter 234: Do me a favor

Noah was prepared to order the imps to attack the men in front of him. No one had the right to stop him from seeing his brother, least of all people carrying guns and swords, who were apparently soldiers with the possibility that they had been sent to do something bad against Carlos and his family.

But before Noah ordered the imps to kill these men, a voice he knew all too well sounded a little desperate. "Put down your weapons now!"

Hearing that voice, the men lowered their weapons with some reluctance. As much as this knight in front of them was making even the strongest Blessed among them shiver at the aura he radiated, they still knew they should listen to the orders of the owner of that voice.

"Yes, young master Carlos," the captain of that team responded while looking at Noah with an uncertain expression.

Noah did not know any of these men, but that did not mean that these men did not know who Noah was. They were all part of Carlos' family's security team, so knowing who Carlos' best friend was was essential to their job, even more so, since a few had seen Noah walking in and out of the property over the past few years quite often.

Who would have thought that this young man, who was always so peaceful and harmless, in such a short time would become this intimidating figure of a fire knight that could strike terror into the hearts of these men just seconds ago.

Unfortunately for these men, Noah had no idea what they were thinking. The only thing he cared about at the time was Carlos' safety, and seeing his brother alive and right in front of him now took a heavy burden off his heart.

"What happened Carlos? Why are there so many armed men around your house? I almost killed them all to get here," Noah asked urgently.

"Brother, who is Shadow S?" Maggy who was beside them asked worried, even more after seeing the expression on Noah's face. She felt that there was something wrong with this 'Shadow S'. After all, her brother was very strong and she didn't expect anyone could threaten him.

"Shadow S is a Blessed Rank C from Eyrin City. Not only is he a Blessed Rank C, but he is also one of the only Blessed Rank C who is not related to any powerful family. He acts as a mercenary in the city. As long as any family is willing to pay the price he charges, he will complete the task. On the contrary, staying here with Maggy would only serve as a distraction for Noah, which could make this battle even more unfavorable than it already was. Reluctantly, Carlos nodded and followed Maggy into the bunker his parents were in.

Shortly after Carlos left, one of the security guards who was strangely lying on the floor stood up urgently and shouted at the team.

"He has arrived! I could hear his footsteps!"

'What a practical Blessing. He can hear footsteps at such a distance just by putting his head on the ground...' Noah thought with interest as he looked at the man who had just screamed.
