Cheng Qingchong shivered in the dust. After a while, she slowly turned to look at the road. Qin Yinan's car had already disappeared. She stared at the space his car had vacated, spacing out for a long time. Then she gripped her bag tightly before rushing toward the other end of the road. She stood beside the rails to stare down at the gently gurgling river underneath it. The surface of the river was calm; the ripple caused by the ring had already disappeared a long time ago.

She then placed them neatly on the bed before moving onto packing her luggage.

Then, she sat on the bed that she had slept in for the past year, staring at the setting sun out the window.
