Similar to before, Cheng Qingchong ended up clicking open Jin Ze's contact details. Just as she was hesitating, the elevator arrived.

After Mrs. Cheng stepped out of the elevator, she turned around when she noticed Cheng Qingchong didn't follow her. She saw the blank expression on her daughter's face, and she asked, "Qingchong, what are you doing?"

Cheng Qingchong came to and rushed out of the elevator. She then used the key to open the door.

When Mrs. Cheng was changing her shoes, Cheng Qingchong held back to stand at the door. Her teeth gritted as she looked at the screen. Then her eyes glowed with determination like she had made a decision before she wrote a message to send to Jin Ze. "CEO Jin, this is Cheng Qingchong, are you free now? Can you talk on the phone?"

The reply soon came. "I'm free but I prefer to talk to you in person."

Cheng Qingchong was expecting this kind of reply when she sent the message. She swallowed deeply before typing a response. "Then when will CEO Jin be free? Let's meet up in person."

"Qingchong, if it's you, I'm free always. How about now? Where are you? I'll fetch you."

Cheng Qingchong glanced at her mother and lowered her head to type a few words. "CEO Jin, give me an address. I'll come to you."

Jin Ze responded by sending her an address to a private club instantly. Cheng Qingchong replied with an "Okay." Then she pocketed her phone and told her mother, "Mum, there's an emergency at the company, do you mind if you stay at home alone for a while?"

Cheng Qingchong hailed a taxi, and when she arrived at the club, Jin Ze's assistant was already waiting.

"Miss Cheng, you're finally here." Jin Ze's assistant greeted Cheng Qingchong politely before leading her into the club. Cheng Qingchong smiled at the assistant but said nothing. She moved through the revolving door.

Along the way, she shared no words with the assistant. They turned around the maze-like corridors before they stopped before a red door.

Jin Ze's assistant knocked on the door before saying softly, "CEO Jin, Miss Cheng has arrived."

After a few seconds, a deep voice grumbled from within. "Let her come in."

The assistant then pushed open the door and stood to the side, telling her, "Miss Cheng, please."

Cheng Qingchong forced another smile at him before taking deliberate steps into the room. When she took another step into the room, the door behind him was closed by the assistant.

Cheng Qingchong's heart quivered following the click of the door, but she tried to keep her steps as calm as possible as she walked toward Jin Ze sitting on top of a delicately-carved chair.

She stopped when she was two meters away from Jin Ze, and she said politely, "Good afternoon, CEO Jin."

Jin Ze heard her but didn't rush to raise his eyes to look at her. Instead, he picked up a kettle of boiling water to focus on steeping a pot of tea. He poured himself a cup and took a sip of it before leaning on the chair and acknowledging Cheng Qingchong with a nod.
