He did not even acknowledge her with a look but turned to walk into the bathroom. The air-conditioner in the room was set on high because it was a summer night. Without Qin Yinan's embrace, Cheng Qingchong shivered from the cold.

Her body had been so savagely destroyed by Qin Yinan that she needed some time lying in bed, completely immobile, before she could feel her limbs again. She pulled on the cover to wrap it over her body. She turned slightly in bed to curl into herself before she felt the unease in her body started to get better.

The sound of rushing water came continuously from the bathroom. Cheng Qingchong knew that Qin Yinan was taking a shower.

Is he trying to wash away my touch and scent from his body? Cheng Qingchong's eyes dimmed. Of course, he is. What other possibility could there be?

Cheng Qingchong hurriedly bit on her lips to use the pain to stop her tears. She held her breath, and as she buried her face into the bedsheet, she used the fabric to wipe away her tears.

Qin Yinan used the hair-dryer for only a few minutes before he walked toward the bed. His hair was short, so it dried quickly.

Listening to the encroaching footsteps, Cheng Qingchong's body tensed. She did not dare turn to look at Qin Yinan. Using her senses, she knew that he had reached the side of the bed. He waited for a few seconds before he reached out to pull the messy cover away.

Qin Yinan yanked the whole cover off the bed.

He climbed into the unoccupied side of the bed. When he pulled the cover back, he felt a moisture at the edge. Qin Yinan frowned, and his fingers rubbed the surface. Then it hit him, and he turned to look at Cheng Qingchong.

Using the dim light in the room, Qin Yinan saw the woman's incredibly reddened eyes. Even though she tried to stop her tears from falling, she could not stop the mist from gathering in her eyes.

As a single tear escaped her eye, Qin Yinan's heart flinched with pain. His body trembled, and his expression froze.

Half a minute later, he slowly came to. His Adam 's apple moved up and down twice before his expression turned severe. "Cheng Qingchong, why are you crying? If I remember correctly, you love crawling into a man's bed to be taken, right?"
