“He is mine. Mine. Do you understand me, stupid bitch?” Lu Xinyi sneered every word at Duan Yong’s face. She was aware of the shocked expression of the employees that were waiting outside the room. She could hear Yan Cai’s voice calling for medics to help Shen Yi.

It was a good thing that Yan Cai had followed and helped her deal with Shen Yi. She had no idea what kind of drug Duan Yong used to her husband but the resident doctor within the company might be able to resolve their problems.

Her eyes went back to Duan Yong’s face.

“If you dare again to look at my husband’s way, I’ll take care of you myself.” Lu Xinyi yanked Duan Yong’s hair tighter, forcing her to look into her eyes.

Duan Yong stared at Lu Xinyi dumbfounded on what she’s said.

Lu Xinyi gave her a devilish smile, the terror was evident in Duan Yong’s face.

Do you want to know what will happen once he comes back to his senses?” Lu Xinyi’s grin made Duan Yong’s knees buckle. Only Lu Xinyi’s tight hold in her hair was keeping her upright.

Lu Xinyi let go of her hair and pushed her down the floor. Her eyes were so cold as she stared down to the woman who dared to seduce her man. She wondered then why didn’t she react the same way when she caught Gong Yijun and Meng Jiao having sex. Was her feeling for Shen Yi deeper on what she had before for Gong Yijun? The medic team with a doctor arrived shortly and checked Shen Yi’s vital signs. Lu Xinyi was so relieved that help was finally here.

Duan Yong scurried up and run from the office. The other employees stood, stunned on what they had witnessed. Their eyes fixated to Lu Xinyi, their lady boss. Who would have thought that their lady boss is a devil in disguise? They knew this ordeal wasn’t over yet.

Xuan Ling lifted her hand and waved. She was afraid that Lu Xinyi will also fire her from her job. She needed this job and it will hurt her family if she loses it.

“No, Miss Lu. Miss Duan just asked me to keep an eye on the door while she speaks with Boss Yi. I never knew she drugged him. I swear.” Xuan Ling couldn’t control the tears streaming down her face. She couldn’t even look at Lu Xinyi’s eyes.

“Please, Miss Lu. I really didn’t know about Miss Duan’s plans. I cannot lose my job. Please, my family relies on me.” she begged.

Lu Xinyi looked at her with a cold gaze.

“I’m surprised to hear that someone who values her family like to see my marriage falling apart.”

“No!!!” Xuan Ling lifted her head and cried harder. “Please, Miss Lu. Forgive me for my arrogance earlier. I have no idea that Boss Yi got married.”

Lu Xinyi didn’t say a word but listened to her.

“Out of my sight!” Lu Xinyi hissed and Xuan Ling left the room immediately.

Lu Xinyi walked and watched how the medics check on her husband.

“Yan Cai. Get all the name of the employees that witness this event from the HR. I will let my husband deal with them later.” Her cold gaze was replaced with worry. Those who had heard her were white as a sheet.
