“Lu Xinyi isn’t like other women. She’s not easily pleased with jewelry and expensive bags.” Shen Yi sighed.

“Then why are we here in this exclusive mall?! Everything in here screams money and luxury brands?!”

‘I don’t know what to give her.” Shen Yi deadpanned.

Shen Xue rubbed his face. After their three-hour meeting earlier, his brother dragged him downtown to find a suitable gift for his Big Sis. Man, his older brother was really whipped. If someone had told him before Shen Yi would fall for a woman, he would laugh at their faces and would still believe that Shen Yi was gay after all.

“For fuck’s sake, I don’t know. All I wanted to do right now is to eat. Didn’t you say you will treat me with a steak?”

Shen Yi gave him a flat look, causing to Shen Xue to roll his eyes. Why did he have to suffer every time Shen Yi drags him to accompany him?

“Fine. Why don’t you give her a perfume?” This made Shen Yi more agitated. He didn’t like perfumes, especially those strong ones! “Or buy her her own car.”

“Yes, yes. Then I should buy her a private jet, a condo, and a new set of wardrobe.” Shen Yi snorted at his idea.

“Not bad, you got the money to burn after all,” Shen Xue agreed easily, following Shen Yi to a jewelry store.

The sales associates squealed when they recognized Shen Xue. Thankfully, Shen Yi was wearing a pair of colored contacts and a wig so his face wasn’t so recognizable. All the attention of the ladies were on his younger brother.

“Welcome, Mr. Shen,” greeted the sales team, bowing gracefully as they entered the store.

“Oh, hi. So I need some help with a gift. Can you recommend something that can be gifted to a woman?” Shen Xue asked. He was aware that Shen Yi would try his best to avoid talking to another woman. With the look on his brother’s face, Shen Xue could tell he wasn’t comfortable.

“Is this for your girlfriend, sir?” the associate asked. She cried within her heart at the thought that this handsome man was already taken.

“Yes,” Shen Xue replied, breaking the hearts of other ladies who were listening to them.

The associate brought him over to the latest collection which was on display. “Perhaps this necklace? This one is one of a kind. There are only ten necklaces like this on the market,” she suggested.

Shen Xue turned to his brother. ‘What do you think?”

Shen Yi did say Lu Xinyi didn’t like jewelry. He was already lucky enough that his wife accepted that north star necklace before.

“I don’t know,” he replied.

“Heh, so much for trying to find a ‘better’ gift,” Shen Xue remarked sarcastically.

They paid for the said necklace and asked it to be wrapped. Once they stepped out from the shop, Shen Yi halted from his steps and pulled on his younger brother’s arm.

“Hey! What’s that for?!” Shen Xue exclaimed, his eyes following where his brother was staring at. “What the hell, bro?! I’m not going to help you shop for Big Sis’s lingerie. That just … ewww.”

He pulled his arm from Shen Yi’s grip.

“Look, bro. I know you can’t keep your hands off of Big Sis.” Fuck, the last time he heard them, it left a mental scar in his brain. ” With the way the two of you are going, I’m surprised she isn’t pregnant yet.”

Shen Yi scoffed and tried not to roll his eyes.

“We both know her going to Silver Leaf is the only reason why she isn’t carrying your new nephew or niece yet.”

“That’s true.” Shen Xue nodded. “I’m even surprised she was able to make you straight.” Shen Xue taunted, earning him a smack on his head from Shen Yi.

“For the love of—” Shen Yi let out a harsh breath. His brother was so good at annoying him. “It’s not my fault that she is the only one who can make me hard. She is your only choice if you want to expect a nephew or a niece from me.”

“Then why the fuck are you trying to pull me to a lingerie store?”

“I’m not planning to buy some lingerie for Xinyi.” Shen Yi told him, then he pointed a finger to a figure inside the lingerie shop, only to see the familiar flamboyant gay best friend of his wife.

“Oh, you mean Yuan Jin?” Shen Xue followed the direction Shen Yi was pointing at and smirked. ‘Karma is a bitch, bro, especially if she’s hungry,’ he thought.

He left his brother and went in front of the lingerie store and called out Yuan Jin’s name.

“Hey, Yuan Jin! You’re Big Sis’s best friend, right?”

Shen Yi tried not to cringe at the mention of Yuan Jin’s name. The last time he met Lu Xinyi’s best friend, Yuan Jin tried to grope his butt. He watched in horror as the man dressed in pink pants and stylish black half-sleeves went out of the store.

“Holy shit.” He wondered if he still had enough time to escape from Yuan Jin’s indecent remarks.

Yuan Jin, who was busy sorting the lingerie he planned to buy, lifted his head to see who called his name. His eyes gleamed when he recognized Shen Xue. Damn, top meat. Did all Shen men look so delicious like this? Can’t blame Lu Xinyi then for agreeing to have a shotgun marriage with Shen Yi.

“Hey, pretty boy,” he greeted Shen Xue when he stepped outside the shop. His eyes then turned to Shen Yi who was trying to ignore him.

“President Shen,” Yuan Jin cooed as he held Shen Yi’s arm. “It’s been weeks, my darling. How are you doing today?”
