Three days. Three days left until the examinations start. Lu Xinyi’s eyes were on her husband though. She watched him across his study as he went through a myriad of phone calls.

First, he’d talked to Qiao He to prepare the necessary documents for her once she passed the exams. She would have to stay within the dormitories of the academy; hence, Shen Yi had to find a suitable place for her to stay. He wouldn’t allow anyone to question her status as she bore the insignia of the Shen family.

Then, it was followed by a few business calls. Now, he was back to talking to someone about purchasing a new house and something Lu Xinyi wasn’t sure of. Her head was aching from all of these preparations.

Why did he look more nervous than she was? But then again, attending Silver Leaf meant that they’re going to live separately until she was done studying.

Her thoughts were disturbed when her phone rang. It was Yuan Jin.

“Hey, babe. I haven’t heard from you in a while,” she greeted him.

Shen Yi instantly turned his attention back to her when she uttered those words. There was a grin on her face as she winked back to her husband after mouthing Yuan Jin’s name.

“Dear, you do know Xiulan and I are busy editing the campaign ad. They will be released next month, so you better wait for it,” he laughed. “How about you? Ready for your exams?”

Lu Xinyi took in a deep breath. She was tired, and she didn’t think she had enough energy to give one last review of her notes. She wasn’t excited about the exams, and she would rather be done with it fast.

“I should be. Just that—I’d already done my best. This waiting game is killing me already.”

Yuan Jin hummed. “Are you sure you still want to go there? What about President Shen and your babies? I mean I’m pretty sure they’ll have a hard time without you around.”

Lu Xinyi looked at her husband and smiled. “We’ll come up with something. I think we could manage. I trust my husband.”

As if sensing his wife’s perusal, Shen Yi lifted his gaze. His phone was still held to his ear, and he looked back at her. His eyes smoldered with warm intensity. Suddenly, all she wanted was to feel her husband close and forget all about her problems.

“Ah, did you give the surprise though? Don’t let our effort go to waste.” Yuan Jin grinned. He and Lu Xiulan had spent a good time with Lu Xinyi to help her with her bedroom problems.

“Sure thing, my love. I’ll call you back later. I need to do something,” Lu Xinyi murmured. Yuan Jin laughed, realizing what she was up to.

“Do your best dear.” Then, the call ended.

Lu Xinyi got up and closed the door of the study, and for the first time since they adopted the twins, she could have ‘alone time’ with her husband. Well, not really alone since he was still on his phone. Three days more to enjoy their remaining alone time, and she wouldn’t let it go to waste.

Slowly, she walked over to where Shen Yi was sitting, with his desk facing the huge window. Taking the liberty to do what she wanted, Lu Xinyi ran her hand from his arm up to his shoulders, her eyes burning with desire for him. His eyes darkened when she decided to straddle him, her hands sliding up and down on his chest.

Shen Yi tensed and tried his best to ignore his seductive wife. She was getting bolder lately, but he liked it. It was just it wasn’t the right time for him. He continued to talk about the funds and finances that should be settled in three days, but none of that interest Lu Xinyi. She just wanted to see him naked.

If she was a good wife, she would leave him alone and let him finish his work. But since Shen Yi had decided to take home more work, she decided it wouldn’t hurt to remind him what he would lose if he kept on choosing his work over her.

Lu Xinyi smiled and began unbuttoning his shirt. His voice became strained as she continued to seduce him. She parted his shirt and pressed a kiss on his bare chest. She heard Shen Yi cursed silently and gave her a disapproving look. His wife was clearly testing his patience and limits. What a naughty wife she had become!

She would give him thirty seconds, and if he could resist her, then she would leave him alone tonight. She’d never been this naughty before, unlike the last time she used that skimpy nightdress to seduce him.

His wife slipped from his lap and moved lower, her fingers running softly on his erection before finding herself hauled into his arms. His phone call was forgotten on his desk as he strode for their bedroom.

“Lu Xinyi! You naughty girl! What are you trying to do with me?” He tossed her lightly on their bed and glared down on her form. “I’m going to ban you from my study if you keep on disturbing me while doing my work.”

“Is work more important than me?” Lu Xinyi tried to suppress a grin but failed as he slipped off his shirt and pants, leaving them on the floor.

“You’ve been a naughty girl, haven’t you, Xinyi?”

She nodded and watched as he moved between her thighs.

“Say the words. Admit it now,” he demanded. Lu Xinyi shivered at the coldness of his voice.

“I’ve been a naughty girl,” she whispered, “I’ve been bad. Really, really bad.”

His hand reached the hem of her shirt and slipped it off.

“Good. Don’t you think you need to be punished?” he teased while she smiled seductively.

“Punish me, daddy. I want my daddy to punish me.”
