Feeling slightly dazzled by the morning sunlight shining through the gap between the closed curtains, I slowly opened my eyes. What time is it? I feel like I’ve slept quite a bit.

I thought the light shining through the window was the morning sunlight, but it might actually have been almost noon already.

Having been awakened, I thought of raising my body up, but when I felt the sensation on my right hand, I turned my eyes and saw Alice asleep, hugging my arm.

It’s rare to see Alice sleeping like this, without being overly cautious about what’s going on around us. No, she did mention that she still has the habit of sleeping from when she was human, but Alice is generally vigilant of her surroundings. Making sure that nothing dangerous gets out of her sight, she doesn’t often sleep around others.

The fact that she’s sleeping defenselessly like she is now proves that she trusts me that much.

Hmmm, I was thinking of opening the curtains, but I also didn’t want to wake her, so should we just stay like this for a while? Just as I thought that though, the curtains opened and when I looked in that direction, I saw a familiar cat costume lightly waving their hands at me before disappearing.

Ahh, the original body may be asleep, but the clones are awake and keeping a lookout on the surroundings huh. I guess that’s just to be expected of Alice, her lack of vulnerable points in matters like this is just like her.

[Eh? Ahh, good morning.]

As the room brightened from the curtains being opened, Alice seemed to have woken up. She opened her eyes slightly and called my name, to which I responded.

Thereupon, her eyes still looking slightly drowsy, Alice wrapped her arms around my back as I turned to the side facing her, snuggling further into my chest.

It seems that she really was still half-asleep. Nuzzling against me, with a sweet, affectionate tone in her voice that she wouldn’t typically use, she rubbed her cheeks against mine. It felt somewhat like the gestures of a cat seeking affection, and it was truly adorable.

Following her request, I held Alice close, gently stroking her head. She seemed to be feeling comfortable, wearing a blissful smile as she softly spoke.

[Yes. I want to make out with Kaito-san a lot more.]

……This is just my hunch, but this guy is probably half-asleep and thinks she’s currently dreaming. What she asked me was an unusually assertive move, quite unlike the typical Alice. However, it’s possible that she usually feels a strong desire for intimacy and affection, but her shyness holds her back from expressing it openly.

Alice usually wakes up well. When I slept over at Alice’s house and when I slept together with her back at the Six Kings Festival, she didn’t show any signs of drowsiness or confusion upon waking up. But this time, Alice had just pulled out all the courage of her life and was mentally exhausted, which may have contributed to her talking half-asleep.

It feels like she wouldn’t be able to calm herself down when clarity comes to her mind later, but I had no particular reason to refuse Alice’s request. In fact, looking at how cute Alice is, my desire to make out with her grew stronger, so just as she requested, I brought my face close and kissed her on her lips.

As Alice was about to lose her calmness upon being engulfed by confusion, I overbearingly plugged her mouth with a kiss. In a sense, I may have forcefully silenced her, but it seemed to be surprisingly effective. Alice was startled at first, but after a little while, she closed her eyes and put her hands around my back.

Well, I do really feel the desire to make out a lot with her, so I decided to make out with Alice enough to override her shyness.
