If he did not buy one for Lu Suo, the child might throw a tantrum when he returned home and feel that he was treated differently from his brother. He liked Lu Suo very much and naturally could not allow Lu Suo to have such emotions. As there was no cake shop in the village, he said to Lu Suo, “Once we head back, I’ll get you a cake, okay?”

Lu Suo nodded. He did not care about the cake at all. He was more concerned about his salary! He jumped in front of Lu Gan and whispered, “Dad, have I received the other half of my salary?”
