Zhao Qingyuan’s physical quality was good. After sweating, the fever quickly subsided and he looked more energetic than ever before. Instead, when Yu Qinghuan went back that night, he started to feel kind of uncomfortable.

“The weather in this city is too dry,” Yu Qinghuan put down his glass and licked his lips.

Yu Qinghuan got caught in a daze for a moment, “Is it? But why I always feel so thirty?”

Yu Xin didn’t take it seriously. He just thought Qinghuan was too thirsty and even reminded him, “Drink less water at night, otherwise, you will get up edema in the morning, and those paparazzi would take ugly photos of you.”

Yu Qinghuan nodded and obediently put down the glass.

After reaching the middle of the night, Yu Qinghuan started to burn and his body temperature soared to 102.2 ℉.

He got no antipyretic by his side and felt embarrassed to wake Yu Xin up for such a small matter. There was still a lot of ginger soup left. So he went to heat it himself, drank a large pot and fell asleep again in a daze.

He thought he was young and would soon get rid of his fever but didn’t expect to wake up the next morning with a worse condition, he not only felt pain all over but even dizzier.

He measured his temperature with a thermometer. Instead of dropping, the temperature had risen to 102.92 ℉.

However, there was no time for him to rest, and the crew was about to leave for Nancheng City. Yu Xin was both angry and worried, so he hurried to the pharmacy to buy two pills of antipyretics and let him swallow them.

Liu Jia’an was also worried after seeing Qinghuan’s condition. He wanted to let him go to the hospital as soon as they arrived in Nancheng City. Unexpectedly, after he got his boarding pass, Yu Qinghuan, who had always been cautious, could not find his ID card.

Yu Xin rummaged through their luggage, but could not find it, so he speculated that it should be left in the hotel.

The hotel they checked in this time was far away from the airport. They would not be able to catch the flight even if they found the ID card and came back immediately.

“The others leave first. Qinghuan and Yu Xin, you two endorse your tickets. The next flight will take off at 2 pm. In ideal circumstance, it will not delay the evening roadshow.” Liu Jia’an frowned and thought for a moment, and finally came up with a solution.

“I’m sorry, Director Liu,” Yu Qinghuan apologized profusely, “I’ve caused you so much trouble. I’ll try to get there as soon as possible.”

Liu Jia’an was still quite annoyed, but seeing even his eyes turned red due to the fever, he felt sorry for the boy, “It’s all right. Go get your ID card first.”

Fortunately, he did leave his ID card at the hotel. As soon as they arrived, the front desk already had it prepared for them. Zhao Qingyuan and Yu Xin managed to squeeze out a little time and sent Yu Qinghuan to the hospital for an injection.

The medicine used on Yu Qinghuan contained sleeping ingredients. He had been sleeping since boarding the plane. After landing, Yu Xin took great pains to wake him up.

“I said we would not be late.” After getting off the plane, Zhao Qingyuan said to Yu Qinghuan after checking the time, then he dialed Liu Jia’an’s phone number.

As soon as the phone rang, the other side answered it. Before Zhao Qingyuan could speak, there came the complicated voice of Liu Jia’an, “Qingyuan, are you in Nancheng City now?”

“Yeah, we are arrived,” said Zhao Qingyuan triumphantly. “Well, I told you we would not be late for the roadshow.”

Liu Jia’an sighed when he heard this, “You made it, but we failed.”

Zhao Qingyuan was shocked, “What?”

“Our plane was about to take off when it suddenly leaked oil. Now all people on that flight got stranded at the airport. I wanted to call you, but I lost my cell phone while running out of the plane, and I couldn’t remember your number. When I finally got my cell phone back, you have already boarded the plane.”

They never expected to have such a dramatic story in just a few hours!

Liu Jia’an sighed again, “Fortunately, you insisted on staying with Qinghuan at that time, otherwise, today’s roadshow would have been ruined. I have already told everything to the organizer. You and Qinghuan will be the only two tonight.”

“…I see.” Zhao Qingyuan talked with him about a few more details, and then hung up the phone.

Yu Qinghuan sat next to him. Liu Jia’an’s voice was loud, so he heard their conversation clearly.
