Chapter 281 – Night Emissary

The new arrival was also a Beast-Type metahuman. From the form the soldier transformed into, he was a Leopard-Type and was also a Mid-Grade Beast evolving towards a higher species. However, his evolution progress was much higher than Lei Hu; that was why Yang Tian was unable to confirm the species of the leopard.

In terms of destructiveness, the Thunder Rifle was way higher than the Thunder Assembler Rifle. Moreover, Lei Xing also used a Rank 3 Armor-Piercing Bullet.

On top of the inherent paralyzing and piercing ability of the Thunder Rifle, the Rank 3 Armor-Piercing Bullet provides an additional 35% armor piercing effect. Even a Mid Rank 4 metahuman would suffer if they were to take the attack head-on. Let alone that the target was an Early Rank 4 that suffered a sneak attack.

The two Early Rank 4 behind Ji Hou Tao immediately shield him behind them, using their bodies to block the high temperatures. As for the rest, they quickly stepped back when they felt the surge in heat.

1000℃ was enough to cause these Early Rank 4 to feel terrible, let alone when most of the people gathered were only Rank 3.

One of the two Early Rank 4 quickly escorted Ji Hou Tao to a safe area while the remaining one coldly looked at Yang Tian.

Ji Tian Luo also went to Ji Hou Tao’s side when she saw her grandfather was nearly injured.

The soldier was afraid of the terrifying heat emitting by Yang Tian’s Flame Energy Body earlier, but when he saw that Yang Tian has deactivated Flame Energy Body, the soldier quickly launched his attack.

He did not know how he got discovered, but he was much stronger than Lei Hu. After suffering a few more attacks, the Night Emissary disappeared from everyone’s sight again.
