Chapter 123 Goodnigh

Luo Xiaolei felt like every single nerve in her body was electrified the instant she felt the graze of Yu Chen's lips against her neck.

Oh my goodness!!! W-w-why is he ki-kissing my neck?!!! Th-this is the low-level kiss he was talking about?!!

Luo Xiaolei's head started to spin. His hot breath on her neck and the tender brush of his lips sent a wave of electricity through her veins, intoxicating her, sending her thoughts scattering into the space.

This was so damn unexpected that Luo Xiaolei couldn't even think straight anymore. She couldn't tell him to stop, or more like she didn't even know if she wanted him to stop at all. Her rhythm was completely thrown off even though she thought she had prepared herself enough.

Luo Xiaolei had always felt like her brain was being lit on fire every time she kissed him. The taste of his lips always overwhelmed her entire being. But she had never imagined just how warm his lips would feel when they were pressed against her skin.

He was kissing her neck with a closed mouth. It was so gentle and slow but somehow, so damn cute, too. The next moment, he leaned away for a split second, breathed deeply before proceeding with his training and kissing her again. That warm and light blow of air onto her neck made her knees shiver and they started to feel weak.

And then, he slowly opened his mouth in between his kisses, breathing out even hotter air on her neck. The frozen Luo Xiaolei was already flushed so red her face seemed like it was overheating. Her heart was beating so loudly that it was impossible for Yu Chen not hear it. And yet, Yu Chen didn't stop.

The spinning stars inside Luo Xiaolei's head just kept on increasing and she felt like if he kept this up any longer, her brain might fully shut down and she'd lose control of herself. She had never thought that she would be this affected. She never thought that Yu Chen's kisses would make her feel this kind of unfamiliar sensation and feelings that were so strong it was almost driving her crazy.

Luo Xiaolei was afraid that he would start licking her because she was sure she would definitely lose it. She had long lost her composure the instant his lips landed on her skin so any more than this and she would reach her limit.

However, the next moment, what she feared happened.

Luo Xiaolei felt the tip of his tongue licked her skin. It jolted her… and made her suddenly step back in a flash.

Her back hit the railing. Yu Chen was surprised that he just stood there looking at her.

After a long moment of silence, Luo Xiaolei cleared her throat and bit her lips.

"I'm sorry… I… I was… No, I mean… I think y-you're going too fast m-my dear student." Luo Xiaolei stammered. "You said not to rush the learning, right? So… I think that's enough for now…"

As soon as he heard her, Yu Chen sighed in great relief. "I thought you hated it and that's why you…"

"No! Actually, you're so good! You passed with flying colors… yes, but you still need some advice about using your tongue… y-yeah, you still need some… advice."

"I see… but if we stop now I might forget what you…"

"It's no problem, if you forget, I will just teach you all over again…" Wait, what?! Oh god!

Before Luo Xiaolei could take back what she just said, Yu Chen's face brightened and he quickly agreed, not giving her a moment to change her mind.

"You're right, I believe that's the best thing to do. I promised to listen to my teacher after all." He replied and Luo Xiaolei could only face palm herself in her head.

Luo Xiaolei, I can't believe you just dug yourself another deeper hole again!!!

Silence reigned between them for another long while. Luo Xiaolei tried to avoid his gentle yet intense gaze as she looked around.

"You're going to work tomorrow right?" she finally said when Yu Chen simply nodded. She then stepped closer to him and forced a smiled but when she noticed the faint tiredness in his eyes, her smile faded. She remembered that this man hadn't slept last night because of her, and it made her feel worried.

"Y-you look tired and it's very late. You better go and have a rest now." She said as she held his hand. She was about to pull him back inside the room when Yu Chen stopped her.

Blinking, she looked at him with questions in her eyes when suddenly, Yu Chen bent and leaned in on her. He rested his head on her shoulder and whispered. "Just a moment."

Luo Xiaolei's heart started to beat wildly again by his another unexpected action, but she didn't say no – she couldn't.

Seconds then turned into minutes but Yu Chen remained unmoving like stone.

The cold wind blew on them but Luo Xiaolei didn't want to move. Somehow, every time Yu Chen was being like this, she had this feeling of wanting to just stay still and let him lean on her shoulders. She didn't know why but she liked it. She liked it when Yu Chen leaned on her like this because for some reason, it calmed her heart. His effect on her was truly unpredictable. First, he drove her nerves into chaos and in the next moment, he made her feel a soothing calmness, making her feel like everything was fine just by being here with her.

When Luo Xiaolei was about to raise her hand to caress his head, Yu Chen finally lifted his head and moved back.

"Let's go back. You might catch a cold," he said and this time, it was he who led her back inside their room.

Luo Xiaolei was already laying on the bed when she frowned. It was because Yu Chen was still standing beside her.

Before she could ask, Yu Chen suddenly bent and then…

He kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight." He uttered and without waiting for her reply, he moved away and laid beside little Ran.
