Chapter 114 Acting

The memories from last night began playing like slide shows in Luo Xiaolei's head. She first saw herself touching every part of Yu Chen's face and then, she remembered saying the words 'I really wanted to assault you sexually', causing her face to instantly flush so red.

Luo Xiaolei was so damn embarrassed she couldn't even speak. Well, it seemed like it wasn't time for her to react just yet because the memories were still coming back to her one after another.

She saw herself pushing Yu Chen down, straddling him and then start kissing him from his lips down to his collarbones. She even heard Yu Chen's helpless voice begging her to stop, telling her that he would hold her accountable.

And then finally, she heard her own voice telling him that she would not leave any part of Yu Chen's body untouched once she was sober.

At that moment, all Luo Xiaolei wanted was to disappear and be teleported to the other side of the world, as far away from where she was standing right then. She could feel that there may have been more to remember than had just popped in her mind but she didn't want to know the rest anymore.

Oh my god!!! I… I actually assaulted a pure maiden last night! Oh lord, forgive me!!!

Luo Xiaolei was still as red as an overripe tomato while standing before Yu Chen. She was still frozen, and was unable to move or speak. Shock and disbelief filled her eyes and she felt like fainting. She couldn't believe what she had done. This wasn't the first time she experienced passing out but this was definitely the first time she ever assaulted someone like this. She had not assaulted anyone, ever; not her boyfriends or her fiancé in her past life. So why? Why did she do something like this?!

As her eyes fell on the awful marks on Yu Chen's neck, Luo Xiaolei couldn't help but feel like she was really such a big bad pervert.

Oh my god, Luo Xiaolei!!! How could you even had the heart to assault this innocent virgin like that?! You're the worst!! I can't believe it!!! T^T

The guilt and embarrassment that Luo Xiaolei was feeling only kept on increasing as seconds tick by. Most especially when Yu Chen's helpless words, "Luo Xiaolei… please stop," started to play repeatedly in her head like a broken tape.

What should I do now? What should I say? Should I kneel before him and beg for forgiveness?!!

Luo Xiaolei was starting to panic. She wanted to ask for forgiveness but she was worried. 'What if Yu Chen won't forgive me this time and make me take responsibility by marrying him right here right now?' she thought and the idea of kneeling down before him shattered into pieces.

She face palmed herself in her head, forcing her brain to think about something but it seemed like her brain wasn't cooperating with her at all.

One long minute had been passed by since Yu Chen nodded. He just sat there as he watched Luo Xiaolei turned red and become a frozen statue. He was waiting for her reaction. He was waiting for her to speak but the girl looked like she was suddenly suffered a huge shock and just remained unmoving like stone. This was the first time he saw her acting like this so he couldn't help but feel somewhat worried.

"What's wrong? Are you alright?" he asked. When the girl didn't respond, he moved to stand up.

Suddenly, Luo Xiaolei collapsed. Yu Chen was quick to catch her so she didn't fall and hit the ground.

"Luo Xiaolei, what's wrong?!" Yu Chen's voice had sounded extremely worried.

"I'm… fine… I think I'm just a bit dizzy." Luo Xiaolei spoke. Her eyes were shut closed and she seemed to be trying to hide her face from him.

"Dizzy? Should I call a doctor?" he asked again when Luo Xiaolei gripped his clothes hard.

"No, I don't need anyone. This is just a hangover. I'll feel better once I sleep more." She replied but the lines on Yu Chen's forehead didn't fade.

"Please just put me back to bed. I just need to sleep for a little bit more." She urged, her eyes still shut closed, burying her face on Yu Chen's chest.

Yu Chen eventually relaxed and he finally carried her. He held her like a princess and gently tucked her on the bed.

After carefully putting the blanket on her, Yu Chen leaned in on her and spoke softly. "Do you need anything to make you feel better?" he asked but Luo Xiaolei shook her head.

"I don't need anything. I'll just need to sleep." She replied, still not opening her eyes at all before she pulled the blanket and covered herself up to her head.

Yu Chen could only blink as he looked at her. He could no longer see any part of her body, for she had covered herself all over.

He found it somewhat suspicious but he thought that she was being quite adorable right now so he quickly threw away the thought that she was acting strange.

Little did he know that the girl under the blanket was now busy thinking about the best way out of this mess she had created. It seemed like Luo Xiaolei was just acting all along.

Because Luo Xiaolei's brain wasn't giving her any idea on what to do, she decided to buy herself some time to at least think. She was afraid that she might spout something that she would regret again if she tried to reason out with him while she was still in her extremely embarrassed state, so this was the only option she had thought about. She needed to calm down and think.

However, before Luo Xiaolei could even calm herself, she heard a knock on the door.

For some reason, her heart hastened when she heard Yu Chen's soft foot step headed towards the door.

Wait… why am I suddenly nervous? So what if someone come? Wait…

Luo Xiaolei remembered the hickeys on Yu Chen's neck and she gasped.

Oh my god! If someone would see those marks…

Thus, like a lightning, Luo Xiaolei sat up. Her eyes turned were wide as she watched Yu Chen's hand twisted the door knob.

As Yu Chen started to pull the door open, the girl who was supposed to be dizzy quickly hopped off the bed and ran towards him.

And the moment the door was opened, out of the blue, Luo Xiaolei suddenly hopped onto Yu Chen's back, wrapping her arms around his neck. What she did was so unexpected that Yu Chen was completely caught off guard. And not just him, even Zaki, the man who was standing across them looked at the two of them in surprise.
