Chapter 109 One more time

"… if you really want to do it… then, marry me first."

Right after those words left Yu Chen's mouth, silence followed.

Yu Chen watched Luo Xiaolei carefully as he waited for her reaction. But she remained silent as she stared at him with a peculiar expression in her eyes. She simply blinked at him in slow motion, as if her eyelids had become heavy.

When the silence dragged on, Yu Chen was about to speak when Luo Xiaolei's face suddenly turned in a full pout mode – an expression Yu Chen found extremely adorable.

"You don't like what I said?" he asked and when Luo Xiaolei nodded, Yu Chen's face instantly darkened. His jaws tightened but he still spoke in a gentle tone as he continued. "So you only want my body and don't want to marry me?"

Luo Xiaolei nodded again, causing Yu Chen's face to turn even darker. He looked like his world was starting to crumble into pieces.

"Why? It's because you don't like me at all?" his voice was nearly inaudible and there were anguish and seemingly ancient sadness in them.

The atmosphere turned exceptionally gloomy, as if the sad rain had started falling on him. However, when the drunk girl on top of him suddenly shook her head, the invisible dark clouds and rain above the head of the little heartbroken devil, instantly disappeared.

"No, that's not it!" Luo Xiaolei's voice was suddenly loud, causing Yu Chen to frown in confusion.

"Are… are you saying that you actually like me?" disbelief colored Yu Chen's voice as he looked at her with wide eyes.

"How could I dislike an adorable and beautiful big panda bun? I reallyyyy like you, okay?" As soon as those words left Luo XIaolei's mouth, Yu Chen was thunder struck his mouth hanged opened in disbelief. And then his body went limp. If he was standing at that moment, he would have definitely collapse on again.

Yu Chen, breathed deeply as he struggled to stabilize his breathing. He was so damn caught off guard by his dear little thunder's sudden confession that he felt like having a heart attack.

But while he was still breathing heavily, a smile slowly carved on Yu Chen's face. His smile this time was nothing compared to the smiles he wore before.

This time, his smile was genuine – probably, the most beautiful smile he ever showed to anyone. His bright teeth dazzled, taking his already devastating beauty to an excruciating degree that even the drunk Luo Xiaolei was astounded.

"Ahh!! You smiled!!!" Luo Xiaolei yelled. Her eyes were wide in awe, as if she just saw a one in a thousand years breathtaking comet appearing in the sky.

Yu Chen who was not paying attention to his own expressions didn't even notice that he smiled so he was surprised by Luo Xiaolei's yell and the dazzling smile on his face abruptly faded. Luo Xiaolei then leaned in on him and held his face between her hands.

"Huh? Why did you stop? Smile again please!!" Yu Chen frowned in confusion but he did as she requested anyway.

However, the girl as unsatisfied. "No! That's not it! I want that smile you showed a moment ago."

"Like… this?"

"No! Not that! That smile is so wicked!"

"This?"

"No! You look like a grinning cat!"

". . ." g-grinning cat?

"C'mon sweetie, I want that killer smile. That deadly smile."

". . .Killer? Deadly? T-this?"

"No!!! That's too scary!"

After some more hopeless try, Luo Xiaolei was finally got tired trying to force out that beautiful smile out of him.

Thus, it was finally quiet again. Yu Chen had recovered from the heart attack he experienced. But his happiness didn't fade that he still felt like his heart had turned into a rainbow-colored cotton candy.

He raised his hand and caressed Luo Xiaolei's cheek as his eyes dazzled like the galaxies that were buried in them all showed up.

"Xiaolei…" the way he uttered her name was so gentle it felt like he was lamenting the sweetest poem in the universe. "I'm so happy." He added when…

Out of the blue, Luo Xiaolei's lips crashed onto his lips.

Her breath came in a wild gasp and then, her fingers knotted in his hair, clutching him to her.

Immediately, the man under her turned to an unresponsive stone. But Luo Xiaolei was so drunk, her mind was clouded that all she wanted was to kiss this irresistible man whom she thought was seducing her and driving her mad.

Luo Xiaolei parted her lips and breathed in. When she was about to slam her lips to his again, Yu Chen's hands gently pushed her face back.

"Please… let me breath for a moment." He pleaded, breathing heavily as if he had just been teleported from Mars. He dizzily held Luo Xiaolei's face that was just an inch away from his. However, the drunk girl didn't seem to hear him at all. She brushed away Yu Chen's hands on her face and then kissed him again.

The helpless Yu Chen could only gasp.

He could now hear nothing but the loud beating of his heart. He could feel her hot soft lips that was like fire burning.

And then, he slowly closed his eyes.

He no longer paid any attention whether he was still breathing or not. All his senses were now on the soft lips kissing him. He didn't know why but closing his eyes made him feel and see the breathtaking sparks flying in space. He could feel the burning sensation getting more and more intense and before her knew it, he, the frozen stone started moving.

Yu Chen's hand slowly landed on Luo Xiaolei's waist. With deliberate slowness, his lips also started moving and then he… kissed her back.

The atmosphere gradually getting hotter as seconds ticked by. But the couple on the floor didn't stop until Luo Xiaolei pulled back to take a breath again.

Yu Chen also opened his eyes as he too breathed heavily. At that very moment, he finally realized that he had just kissed her back and that he didn't pass out. This realization stunned him but he closed his eyes again as Luo Xiaolei slammed her lips on his one more time and they continued kissing.
