Lin Yi fell into silence after hanging up the phone.

According to Sun Fuyu, the domestic chip industry had been stagnating, and most of the companies’ R&D had been stuck on the last control unit.

However, he had just written the basic source code a few days ago, and with Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying’s abilities, they should be able to finish the rest of the work soon.

Lin Yi called Sun Fuyu at that thought.

“Mr. Lin, you wanted to see me?” Sun Fuyu greeted politely.

“Where are you?”

“Don’t go yet. Wait for me back at the Institute. I need to talk to you about something.”

“I’ll go back now.”

Lin Yi hung up the phone and drove to the Longxin Institute.

He saw Lu Ying as soon as he entered the institute. She was reading a thick stack of documents as she walked, her brows furrowed. It was obvious that she was studying the documents in her hands.

Lu Ying looked up and saw that it was Lin Yi. She immediately put down the documents in her hands.

“Director Lin, you’re here.”

“You’re still busy.” Lin Yi said with a smile, not betraying his emotions.

“I’ve finished all the procedures surrounding the control unit. I’m doing the third test, but there’s a small problem with the frequency hopping band. Don’t worry though, Director Lin, I’ll definitely solve this problem perfectly. I won’t delay it.”

Lin Yi paused for a second. “Put your work aside and come with me to the office.”

“Understood, Director Lin.”

Sun Fuyu had been waiting for Lin Yi when the latter arrived at the office.

“Mr. Lin, you’re here.” Sun Fuyu said.

Lin Yi nodded and sat down on the sofa.

“There’s news saying that Cisco has developed the final program for the control unit. One of you is the director, and the other is the technical backbone. Don’t you want to make a statement about this?”

“Impossible!”

The two of them said almost at the same time.

“This has been a problem for a long time. If it wasn’t for Mr. Lin, we wouldn’t have been able to solve it in the short term. I know Cisco’s strength, and they definitely don’t have the ability to make such a breakthrough,” Sun Fuyu said.

“That’s not what I’m talking about.”

Lin Yi rested his head on one hand, his face dark.

Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying stood to the side sulkily, not even daring to breathe loudly.

There was a traitor in the research institute!

“Director, don’t worry. I can guarantee that there will be mistakes in their work. It won’t be as perfect as our program,” Lu Ying said.

“At this stage, they might be able to cheat the public, but they can’t fool the market. In the end, they won’t be a match for us !”
