Chapter 241: Boarding a Naval Ship

“Boss.”

When Chu Xian arrived at the fish farm, the workers immediately stood and called out greetings. From the bottom of their hearts, they were grateful for their boss. He treated them well, and was a very good boss.

“En.” Chu Xian nodded at them. Today, he had them gather around to answer any of the confusions they had, but the method he used only left them even more astonished.

“Later, I’ll bring you all to a place. It’ll answer solve some of your confusion.” Chu Xian smiled at them. “Get on board, today we’ll go out to sea.”

Today’s venture was not to fish, but to keep the appointment that he had made with Fa Daiyue and the others yesterday.

Old Shi and the two other researchers he’d met wanted to see the legendary Dunkleosteus. Chu Xian had no objections, and it had also been a month since he’d unleashed them on the sea. He wanted to see how much they had grown, and whether any of them had died.

So seizing today’s opportunity, Chu Xian decided to bring the fish farm workers along to answer their confusions, and to use the day to insure that they’d keep the secret well in the future.

The ship sailed forwar slowly, and not far from the exit of the fish farm, Chu Xian saw Qin Dahai and a group of people around their fish farm.

Qin Dahai and Qin Zhiwei also saw Chu Xian’s fishing ship, and when they did, they stepped backwards and shrank into themselves.

Last time, after Chu Xian had taken away all their baby fish, Qin Dahai had been so furious he had almost fainted. His loss had been over a hundred thousand rmb, and his mood was obvious.

Over the past few days, he had paid close attention to Chu Xian’s fish farm. Not only had the fish not been devoured by the alligator gars, the fish in the farm seemed to now. His first thought had been that Chu Xian had recognized his plan and stolen his fish in retaliation, but he had not even had the change to approach Chu Xian when Old Huang had brought Sword Two, Alligator One and the others to his home.

After they sailed the ship out into the wide ocean, they picked up speed and quickly arrived at the agreed upon location.

A forty meter long military ship was anchored there, with soldiers and advanced weaponry visible on the deck.

The Mermaid slowed as it neared the naval ship, and under the stunned gazes of Grandpa Feng and the workers, pulled to a stop next to the ship.

“Big Brother Fa.” Chu XIan called out to the uniformed Fa Daiyue on the deck.

“You’re here.” Fa daiyue laughed. A board extended out from the ship, and Chu Xian smiled and climbed aboard.

“Come up, all of you.” Chu Xian called over to his shocked men.

“Yes boss!” The ten workers were shaken out of their astonishment and hurriedly nodded, each competing to be the most respectful as they followed behind their boss.

“These are some of the new workers that I’ve hired. Because of some interesting matters at my fish farm, I’ve brought them with me to show them the explanation.” Chu Xian explained to Fa Daiyue.

“Of course, not a problem.” Fa Daiyue shook his head casually, and then asked with one curiosity. “Is Brother Chu’s fish farm very strange?”

“Heihei, of course it is strange.” Chu Xian laughed. “I don’t raise on the fish farm myself, but get them from the sea.”

“Eh. Haha, you really are unique. No wonder your men felt like this matter was strange, who wouldn’t?” Fa Daiyue chuckled after an initial moment of surprise.

Of course he understood Chu Xian’s meaning. Getting fish from the sea obviously referred to using the Dunkleosteus to herd the fish into his fish farm.

Chu Xian knew that this was what Fa Daiyue would assume, and was also what he wanted people to think.

The workers behind him overheard the conversation between their boss and the naval officer, but they did not understand and did not dare to speak up.

“Not at all, not at all. I also want to take a look out our country’s ships.” Chu Xian chuckled and greeted the other two men. “Dr. Gu, Dr. Wu.”

“Hehe, no need to be polite, sit, sit.”

“We’re more relaxed in these peace times. Other than some military drills or our tracking of ocean resources, Dr. Gu and Dr. Wu have a lot of time to concentrate on matters like these. They are very curious about the Dunkleosteus.”

“That’s good then. Daiyue, start the ship.” Old Shi answered.

“Grandpa Shi, I might need to be outside for this, otherwise it’ll be difficult to track them.” Chu Xian smiled and stood up.

“We can all come out and take a look then.”

Old Shi and the others smiled and stood, and they all came out to the deck.

Grandpa Feng and the others saw the old officers and the military ranks on their uniforms and straightened.

Old Shi smiled in their directions before turning away to look at the wide seas.
