Chu Xian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. In the end, he just nodded.

The middle-aged man from Far Airlines was somewhat surprised by how well David Clark treated the young Chinese man, but he hid his reaction as he gestured. “Mr. Clark, we have three cars available. If you please.”

“Lend us two of your cars. We can drive ourselves!” David said to the middle-aged man.

“Of course!” The middle-aged man understood they had personal business to attend to and nodded. “Take our drivers with you; they know the place well.”

“Shang Jing University!” Chu Xian said to the driver.

The driver nodded and drove to the university.

“Chu Xian, is your girlfriend a student?” Allie asked curiously.

“No, she’s a teacher, but right now, she’s studying in Shang Jing!” Chu Xian replied.

Soon, the car entered the Shang Jing University campus and Chu Xian took out his phone. “Hey, Xiao Ying, where are you?”

“Heehee, what do you think? I wanted to give you a surprise!” Chu Xian chuckled.

“Alright, come over then!” Xiao Ying nodded and hung up. She turned back to the new friend she made in Shang Jing and the guy holding a bouquet of flowers beside her.

“My boyfriend is coming!” Xiao Ying smiled as she turned to look at the young man. “I’m sorry, but can you please leave? I don’t want my boyfriend to misunderstand!” (2)

“Xiao Ying, my love is true!” the young man said sincerely. “I want to be with you, and I want us to be together forever! I can marry you, and I’ll buy you everything you want! Xiao Ying, please accept me!”

“Xiao Ying, please reconsider! Zhou Hao is a good man and a good teacher – he’s a perfect fit for you. He also has a good social position and money!” the woman beside Xiao Ying urged her.
