Chapter 159: Making a Scene (1)

With Yin Jinye’s promise, Rong Yi finally could stay in the mansion securely for a few days. But still he had to move. He didn’t want Qi Lan to come to their place to made a scene now and then under the name of the old lady like he was the real master here while he was only a wretch who would be expelled at any minute.

After having breakfast, Rong Yi asked Rong Huan to teach the little zombie how to talk and some basic manners, and then took Rong Yi to look for a house.

Rong Su was confused, “Young master, you can ask us servants to do it for you.”

Rong Yi took out the compass he got in the Evil Realm Forest, “It’s easy to find a house, but not so easy to find one with great feng shui.”

Rong Su asked, “Where did you get this? Do you know how to read a compass? It looks not bad.”

“I got it from someone who tried to kill me.”

Rong Su heard it from Xinghe, “Young master, don’t worry. We have sent people to get it investigated. I heard from Xinghe that those people wear robes of Dusheng Sect but their arts were not like from that sect. Apparently someone tried to impute this on them.”

“It’s better to check out who the leader of Mating Castle has been contacting. She should have something to do with this.”

“Yeah, we also sent people to get her investigated. But she has too many connections, so it isn’t an easy thing to find a clue.”

“The one behind this knows augury. Not that easy to catch him.” Rong Yi noticed their carriage was passing the clothes shop of Westwood Street. He suddenly remembered that he forgot to give Qi Yueshi the enchanted runes he had refined these days. So he asked the carter to stop. The next moment he heard quarreling sound from the shop.

Rong Yi brushed open the curtain and saw five men walking out of the shop holding magic weapons in their hands, “Everybody come and see! This is the enchanted rune they made. I have only engraved it on my magic weapon for two fucking days and it’s broken! But they don’t admit it’s their problem! Without credit, how do you do business?”

On hearing them, those passers-by flocked before the gate of the shop.

The other four men all held up their own magic weapon and shouted, “Folks, don’t believe them anymore. Their runes are useful at first. But after using for some time, something would go wrong. We are the living proof.”

One passer-by was surprised, “Really? If so, who would dare to buy things from their shop?”

Qi Yueshi elbowed out through the crowd, trying to explain, “Everybody, don’t listen to them! The runes they have engraved onto their magic weapons are not from us at all…”

The man holding the magic weapon said, “The grains on our magic weapons are exactly like those on your runes! Isn’t it obvious enough?”

Until now Rong Yi realized someone was trying to pick a hole. It should be someone in the same industry that was jealous of their booming business.

He turned over and whispered something by Rong Su’s ear.

Rong Su smiled and then quickly jumped off the carriage and flew away on his sword.

Qi Yueshi explained to the passers-by, “Yes, the grains are exactly the same as on our runes. But they could be imitated, you know. Isn’t it too easy for you to make the same pattern of grain with ours?”

The man making a scene here said, “Boss Qi, saying all this bullshit, you just don’t want to compensate for us, right?”

Qi Yueshi sneered, “But having making a scene here, you just want to spoil our credit or maybe make a big fortune from us, right?”

“Look at what we are wearing! Do you think we are poor or what? Besides, we don’t know each other at all. Why should we spoil your business?”

Other four men instantly echoed, “Yeah, exactly. If it hadn’t been that your runes really broke our magic weapons, do we have to make a scene here? Today we only want an explanation from you, and also give others a warning!”

Both sides had their own point. Now the passers-by had no idea which side to believe.

Qi Yueshi, Zhong Ziqiao and other were all pissed off. While they were trying to figure out how to deal with the situation, someone cried from behind the crowd, “Big brother, big brother..”

Everybody turned around and only saw two young men elbowed through the crowd and shouted while holding up a piece of paper in his hands, “Big brother, I got it. I got it.”

They came before those who were seeking trouble and said excitedly, “We got our numbers, No. 1073, very forward! I believe it won’t take long before we could buy our enchanted runes! Haha! Big brother, really a smart move! You made a scene here on purpose making everyone believe their enchanted runes are defective. Then those who were queuing in lines before us were worried to get fooled and sold their numbers to us. Haha, our other men are still buying numbers from others. Maybe we could buy numbers even more forward.”

Qi Yueshi and the crowd, “…”

The man who was making a scene yelled, “You…”

Before he finished his words, someone behind yelled angrily, “You two idiots! Didn’t I tell you to wait at home after getting the numbers? What are you doing here?”

The two young men scratched their heads embarrassedly, “We just got dizzy with success. We are going back now.”

Then someone among the crowd said, “So they used such dirty means in order to get the queuing number! So despicable! So dirty! Fortunately we didn’t fall for it, otherwise those numbers before would be yours already! Everybody go home! Just ignore those people!”

The crowed all poohed at those men who were making a scene and went away.
