Rong Yi first asked Rong Huan to bring Bai Yunchen to Biluo yard. After drawing those runes and writing the formula and refining method for Xiang Lv, Rong Yi then went to see him.

Looking at the formula on the white paper, Xiang Lv knitted his brows tighter and tighter, finally he couldn’t help saying, “Master shifu’s handwriting really sucks!”

Even words written by a six-year-old kid looked better than his.

Having stared at some of the words for quite some time, he still couldn’t recognize what they were. He could only combine those words before and after to guess out what those ingredients were. Alas, it was really not an easy job to be Rong Yi’s disciple. He also had to have a pair of sharp eyes.

Bu Qi looked at those chicken-claw-like words and said, “I guess our master shifu doesn’t write often. His gesture of holding the brush isn’t right.”

Xiang Lv sighed, “Our master shifu’s hands are too delicate. Maybe I can write the formulas myself in the future.”

Bu Qi chuckled.

“I’ll go prepare those ingredients.” Once Xiang Lv went out of the room, he heard some hearty laughter. He then turned around and looked over to the pavilion, only seeing that Rong Yi was sitting in front of Bai Yunchen, laughing wildly. He couldn’t help picking his eyebrows. He had long heard that Rong Yi liked his senior brother. And now it looked that was true.

Rong Yi himself was also confused. He just had been in pretty bad mood. But after seeing Bai Yunchen, he felt indescribably happy, and a little bit shy, and some kind of long-time-no-see feeling.

But he clearly remembered that when he saw Bai Yunchen the last two times, he didn’t have such kind of feeling.

Seeing him so happy, Bai Yunchen involuntarily curled up his lips, “Are you all right?”

“If I got driven out of here, will you find a shelter for me?”

Rong Yi asked him, “The chief came to you in person asking me back?”

Even the test showed that he owned spiritual root, they still found an excuse to drive Rong Yi away. But now the chief himself wanted him back? Then he tried to explain, “Maybe because you got tested to own the rare mutant Thunder-fire Spiritual Root.”

Seeing that he knew nothing about what had happened, Rong Yi immediately tried to switch the topic, “Oh right, senior brother, I met some disciples from Taiyuan Sect when I had the test that day. They all said you agreed to marry into their sect and the cancelled the engagement only because of me. They even tried to hunt me down.”

Bai Yunchen asked, “Are you all right?”

Rong Yi could see genuine care through his eyes, “Someone happened to be by my side and helped me get rid of them.”

Bai Yunchen said apologetically, “Sorry, I didn’t handle it properly and nearly got you killed.”

“I’m just wondering what your relationship with Taiyuan Sect is.”

After giving it some consideration, Bai Yunchen decided not to hide it from him, “About half a year ago, I heard that Elder Yuanyi from Taiyuan Sect has a spiritual seed. After putting it in one’s body, there’s certain possibility that one could grow spiritual root. So I went to their sect and inquire about it.
