The business was not so good on the opening day as they had imagined. But there were really a lot of people going in and out. And they were short of hands, so Qi Yueshi and others had to entertain the guests, leaving Rong Yi and others alone.

Once Rong Yi and Yin Tao came before the counter, they immediately attracted those female cultivators’ attention. Seeing those gorgeous robes they were wearing, they immediately made orders.

After the three cultivators who stuck the enchanted runes on their magic weapons on spot went back, they immediately took them out to show off in front of the crowd. So everyone on spot bought it. And after those people went home, this became a topic of their dinner conversation. Thus, one to ten, ten to hundred, and hundred to thousand, only half a day’s time, most people of Haishan City knew about the enchanted rune thing.

Everyone had the spirit of curiosity. The most important thing was that everyone was eager to take a shortcut of their cultivation. So be it true or not, they decided to check it out first.

Early the next morning, once their clothes shop was opened, a crowd of people flooded in. Surprisingly, there were even more customers than the opening day!

Like yesterday, Qi Yueshi took out an enchanted rune and sold it to some cultivator at a very cheap price and let him stick it onto his magic weapon. Then everybody on site learnt what it could do. The rest hundreds of enchanted runes were immediately sold out.

In fact, at first those cultivators who bought the enchanted runes would like to get cheated. In this way, first they just took it as a lesson to learn, second, if it really broke their magic weapons, they could ask the shop owner to pay. Anyway, they’d lose nothing.

But after a few days, the enchanted runes were still engraved on their magic weapons in a perfect shape, and their power didn’t decrease a bit. Now everybody in Haishan Citu knew about it, even the chief of Nine Void Sect and those elders.

The chief immediately summon all disciples with titles to the hall for a meeting. He then took out an enchanted rune and showed it to everyone, “I heard that people in Haishan City are all talking about some strange runes. It could improve the level and power of the magic weapons.”

All the people present nodded while looking at each other.

An elder said, “Now all disciples are talking about it. It’s impossible not to know. Even I wanted to buy one to see it is really so good as they said, but it was already sold out when I got there. One has to pay spiritual stones in advance to line up. According to a disciple of me, there are already tens of thousands of people were lining up.”

“I also sent some disciples to see if they could buy some.” Another elder took out a white paper with words on it, “I heard this kind of rune is called enchanted rune. Having lived in this world over a thousand years, I have never heard such a thing before.”

Everyone looked at the words on his white paper and wondered, “Twenty thousand and seven? Elder Jiufu, what does the number stand for?”

Elder Jiufu said grumpily, “This is my lining up number in there. There are twenty thousand and six people are lining up before me! The shop owner said I may have to wait three months. You should know people all used to line up to buy the runes from me. Never expected that I also have to line up to buy runes from others! This is outrageous!”

“Poof~~~” Someone couldn’t help laughing out loud!

Everybody looked over to the one who was laughing. It turned out to be Immortal Yunyi who was sitting next to the chief.

The chief asked, “Old man, why are you laughing?”

Immortal Yunyi shook his hand, “Nothing, nothing.”

He felt so lucky that he was the first one to notice Rong Yi’s presence, otherwise he would be the one lining up behind.

The chief asked Immortal Yunyi, “Yunyi, you are so well-informed. Have you seen this kind of rune before?”

“No, I haven’t. But now I see one.”

The chief, “…”

It’s no use to ask him.

The chief then asked those disciples sitting below, “Have you seen this kind of rune?”

They all shook their heads.

The chief said, “I have gotten it tested. The rune on it was really as good as that person said. I have asked some disciples to facsimile one. They not only couldn’t enchant it onto the magic weapon, but also it was of no use at all. So I am guessing if it’s the cinnabar.”

Elder Jiufu shook his head, “I don’t think so. Having drawn runes for so many years, I have never seen any cinnabar that could both engrave the rune onto the paper and then into the magic weapon.”
