“Stop bickering. If you continue to bicker, get lost.” Bernard slammed on the table, and the vampires in the castle became quiet.

They gazed at him and thought that even though it was the fault of Lord Bernard, they had to take the blame. But since he was the city lord and the most powerful professional, they patiently watched Bernard.

Bernard surveyed the group of vampires and sighed. He said, “I’ll surrender the map of the ‘Blood Essence of the Blood Dragon’ to Emerald Grand Duchy in exchange for the support of the vampire legion.”

“Vampire legion?” Many of the vampires gasped in surprise.

“Is the Emerald Grand Duchy going to deploy the vampire legion?”

“My lord, are you really going to surrender the map?” Some of the vampires were in disbelief. Lord Bernard regarded the map highly, so they did not expect him to relent.

Bernard laughed coldly. “I can always make a duplicate of the map. Locating the treasure requires certain features of the map. I have completed a perfect duplicate. Since I can gain the support of the vampire legion, isn’t it killing two birds with one stone?”

Bernard did not want to give up his territory.

William’s declaration of war had attracted the attention of many vampires. Even if these vampires were the enemies of Bernard, they had to assist the East Sea Metropolis.

Bernard could be even more vicious, but he coldly said, “The East Sea Metropolis will now be under military rule.

“Inform everyone in the legion.

There was no reason they could not defeat the City of Dawn that had only existed for a few years.
