It was this way when riches dropped in front of the door. A poor man in the crowded city had no visitor, while a wealthy man in a remote mountain area would be called on by distant relatives.

That night, several people had come to visit Jiang Xiu's home. They were residents of the neighborhood who had come bearing gifts. It was either a fruit basket or vegetables, but none of them dared to enter the house. Instead, they left after delivering the items and giving a greeting.

The Jiang family had their dinner on the balcony as there wasn't any extra space inside the house. Jiang Yi, who had become uncommunicative before, drank a lot today.
