Zhao Youlin shuddered. In her shock, she looked at the hand hanging at Mu Tingfeng's side.

Zhao Youlin remembered the warmth when this long, big hand with its prominent knuckles grabbed her wrist. But now, one of the two hands was dyed red with blood at some point of time.

Blood oozed out from between his fingers, and they dripped to the floor. It tugged at her heartstrings for some reason.

Zhao Youlin recognized that the injured hand was the one Mu Tingfeng had used to seize the edge of the platform to stabilize himself. The edge of the platform was not as smooth as the other places, so Mu Tingfeng's hand might have been cut just now.

Once she figured this out, Zhao Youlin's emotions instantly became complicated. She had never thought that someone would actually risk their life to save her, and especially when the person… was this man.

Duan Yarong heard Xia Zhetao's cry of surprise and also turned her head in surprise to look at Mu Tingfeng. When she saw the cuts on Mu Tingfeng's hand, she could not help but frown, and her gaze was just as complicated as Zhao Youlin's.

Once Zhao Shunrong gave orders to Xiao Jingyao, he went after Zhao Youlin and the others.

After what happened, these people were a little fearful, and they were definitely not going to sit in an elevator so soon.

Fortunately, Zhao Enterprise only had forty something floors. After climbing up three floors, they reached Zhao Youlin's office, so they did not have to move around too much.

This room was opened specifically to serve as a room for Zhao Youlin to rest. Aside from a large bed, there was also a small table inside.

Duan Yarong might not want to let the two of them be alone together, but when she saw the blood on Mu Tingfeng's hand, her heart went out for him, and she followed Xia Zhetao out.
