While introducing Grom and Richard to his people, he was also watching the people around them, and when he saw their varying expressions of shock and disbelief. The man couldn't help but be slightly proud and smug as he shows off that he is..still leagues above them.

Getting his vanity satisfied, his smile grew so wide that he almost looked like that particular villain with a clown make up who loves playing around with a man who thinks he's some kind of a bat.

'Sh*t, I knew this gathering wouldn't be so simple. I need to inform them about what will take place here immediately after'

"Greetings, Sir Richard and Sir Grom. It's a huge honor to be able to meet you!"

"It's an honor to be able to meet you, respectable sirs!"

After the initial shock, all of the people inside immediately wore solemn expressions on their faces, but as the sly people they are, someone immediately gave a more proper greeting to them compared to earlier and the rest immediately followed suit while wearing their best fawning expressions on their faces like they are meeting royalties for the first time.

"Enough with the pleasantries! Get to the point, Kwon Jung-jin! We don't have all night! Let's begin!"

Running out of patience, Richard Rothschild slightly raised his voice, quickly making those people fawning at them like dogs pleasing their owners to stop and shut their mouths.

"Fine! Listen up! The reason why I summoned you people here.."

While Kwon Jung-jin is busy giving his speech. Monk and Sun Bin were busy watching them from their position.

"Shall we start?" asked Monk, a little impatient.

While watching the people inside the mansion through the binoculars she brought with her, Sun Bin spotted someone that immediately made her frown.

"Wait, there's seem to be a little hiccup to our plans"

"What? What happened?"

Sun Bin sighed and said, "My informant, he's down there"

"What? Are you kidding me right now!?"

Also extremely annoyed by the sudden turn of events, she almost yelled saying, "I'm not! And that bastard, why is he there?"

Monk rubbed his temples and said, "Do you trust him?"

"What do you mean by that? Of course, I trust him, he's been working with us for a long time now" replied Sun Bin with a glare.

"Then why is he there? Didn't you at least tell him of our plans tonight?" Similar to Sun Bin, Monk was also annoyed that things kept cropping up, delaying their plans.

Sighing to herself, Sun Bin replied, "I did tell him. I just don't know what went through inside his mind to still attend. So do me a favor and let's wait for a few minutes more to see what he's up to"

Monk stared at her for a few seconds before releasing a sigh, "Alright, I've already delayed it for a few years, I guess delaying it for a few minutes wouldn't hurt. After all, it wouldn't have been this easy if it wasn't for you lending a hand"

Listening to his words, Sun Bin smiled and said, "Good thing you know, or I would be really disappointed in you"

"You're such a bitch"

"Shut up, just a few more minutes okay?"

"Fine, I really don't know what's going on with that friend of yours, is he courting death or something?"

Monk can only shake his head in the end and continued watching the events happening down below them.

With the last of his speech, the place descended into silence for a few seconds while Jung-jin observed the expressions of the surrounding people.

The people looked at each other or more accurately watched each other's reaction to this explosive news that was suddenly dropped on them.

"What? Nothing? Not even surprised?" Jung-jin said with a laugh after a few moments of uncomfortable silence around them.

Grom and Richard just stood there and didn't bother saying anything, showing just how high their arrogance is as they barely said anything since the beginning.

"Sir! You've mentioned about taking over the presidential seat earlier. Do you have any person in mind to push to run for the presidential election?"

After much hesitation, one of the attendees asked while wiping the sweat on his face with a handkerchief.

"Huh? W-what do you mean sir?"

"What?!"

Kwon Jung-jin's simple reply got waves of exclamations from his people as they couldn't believe what they just heard from him!

Even Richard and Grom were surprised with what he said, but still didn't say anything in the end as they probably couldn't care less who becomes a president since it made no difference even if they were a president or even a king as they would still have to answer to them like servants after getting their help.

"What? You don't want it?" asked Jung-jin with a smile.

'You better shut that damn mouth of yours junior if you don't want to regret it later'

'I shouldn't have hesitated earlier, dammit!'

'Tsk! What a lucky bastard'

'This is bad, this is really bad! Is this world war three on the horizon!?'

The person from earlier didn't immediately reply to his question and instead observed the people around him, some wore solemn looks on their faces and the rest just glared at him with eyes telling him to shut up, along while his partner on other hand, has stars in her eyes and has already started imagining her life as the first lady of their country.

"This…it's just…why suddenly me sir?"

"Well, I guess you were the boldest out of these bunch tonight. I even thought I was talking to myself earlier if you didn't raise your question earlier" replied Jung-jin with a chuckle while sending meaningful glances around him, obviously a little dissatisfied with their actions tonight when normally they would be very opinionated by now and arguments would escalate into yelling at each other to prove their point.

Jung-jin slowly made his way before the man, and while putting on the kindness smile he can offer, he offered his hand for a handshake and said,

"So, are you onboard for the brand new era that we have envisioned?!"

With much excitement, the man didn't even hesitate for a second and immediately shook the midas hand that was offered to him with the brightest smile on the planet!

"Glady sir! It would be an honor to be of help!"

The man was so happy that he bowed so low that he looked like he was about to give Jung-jin the good ol blowj**, but deep inside, the former was cursing his luck tonight!

'Sh*t! Why me?! How am I supposed to deal with this?!'

Soon after that, the man hurriedly went to look for the restroom after having a short talk with Jung-jin. It is so that he could calm himself down and to think of ways to get out of the shit he had just stepped foot on tonight.

"What the heck is happening now?" asked Sun Bin to herself when she saw her friend bowing like a servant to Kwon Jung-jin.

Bored, Monk asked, "So are we starting now?"

Seeing his friend finally leaving the venue, Sun Bin slowly turned towards him and with a cold smile, she said, "Let's do this"

With the sound of the machine gun being loaded, Sun Bin's entire demeanor suddenly changed and she started laughing like a villainess!
