Chapter 394 - It's You!

After having dinner with Michael, Amanda then went back home.

After seeing her off on the road with a wave of his hand, the smile on his face disappeared and was replaced by a cold look as he fished out his phone from his pocket.

[Sir, it seems Senator Reeves had asked that Old Geezer in the IRS to shut down Amanda's cafe]

Michael was reading about a text message sent to him a couple of minutes ago by one of his informants.

Which of course, was one of his trusted informants in his past life and the one who had sold him the weapons he used to take revenge on Senator Reeves before.

He didn't immediately reply as he was just confused about what the hell is going on with Jin and his father.

He knew what they wanted from his girlfriend after learning it from her before, he just didn't understand what they were trying to achieve by shutting down her business.

After all, as someone who had learned everything about them. He knows that this isn't how they do things, they are far more reckless and straightforward..

Not like this where they doing something unnecessary and stupid in his eyes. It's not like Amanda would be hurt and get depressed by her cafe shutting down, she might feel indignant, but that's it.

Except though that it would be a pity to her employees as they would lose their jobs.

But Michael wouldn't let that happen, its because he had swore to himself that he would c*ckblock those father and son until the only thing they could feel is despair and helplessness!

Like the despair he had felt when he lost Amanda to them back then!

Assassins like Michael might not have the same influence and political power like government officials, but there's a couple of things they can boast about, their resourcefulness and their ability to kill you!

You don't want to do them a favor? Then I will blackmail you and let the whole world know how dirty you are!

You still wouldn't budge? Then I can only kill you and look for someone else!

And Michael plans to do just that! Though he might not kill because he's not that unreasonable, but he would at least make sure that anyone who rejects him would suffer a little!

After sorting out his thoughts, Michael quickly replied to the message saying, [Give me all of the information of the people that could block that old geezer]

And a short moment later, his phone quickly notified him that an email had been received from someone anonymous.

"He sure is fast" said Michael with a smile as he slowly opened the file that was sent to him.

And when he saw the long list of names inside the file, Michael couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he saw a couple of names he could recognize.

Locking the front door behind him while murmuring to himself, "Jenny's father is also included in the list"

"I didn't know that the city mayor is actually a member of War Temple. So he's the reason why Blackskull's growth in Central City has stagnated, it's because of this little fatty. How sneaky they are" murmured Michael as he couldn't help but laugh, and along with this discovery, it finally allowed him to connect the dots back then when he was coming for revenge, and where his contact easily smuggled a couple of high military grade weapons in the city known for its impenetrable defense against smuggled goods.

"Tsk, he's good at concealing himself. I wonder how many people know that he's actually a gangster turned politician?"

Michael soon continued scrolling through the list until he saw a name that satisfied him, "Central City, Blackskull Executive, Head of the Zirco Syndicate, Antoine Herrera"

"It's you then," said Michael with a cold glint in his eyes, and obviously, the reason the man was chosen among the tens of people in the list is because of the current grudge between them.

"Shithead, back then, I didn't come looking for you for the debt you owe me, but this time. I'm back, and I'm..coming"

With a devilish grin on his face, Michael changed his clothes into a pair of black track pants, black shoes and a hooded jacket, along with a pair of pens he stored inside his pocket.

Soon after, he came out of his house and made his way towards the city center in his car.

In another corner of the city.

Inside a large and tall building with a lot of foot traffic going to and fro, and with all of them dressed to the nines while accompanied by either their friends, their partners or just their sugar mamas or papas.

And a few minutes later, a row of black cars alighted before the casino, and a fit looking middle aged man dressed in a suit stepped out in one of the vehicles with a gold plated walking stick in his hands and a cigar in his mouth.

Followed by a gorgeous woman around his age and wearing a dress that shows off her curvy figure, and those pair of soft milky melons.

The woman quickly stood beside the man and hook her arms around his while pressing her pearly bosom and said with a charming smile on her face, "Let's go and play darling~"

The middle aged man just smiled, and accompanied by the woman at his side and a few guards behind them, they entered the building filled with noise of laughter, sobbing, yelling, and the cry of despair accompanied by the sound of multiple slot machines.

Soon following after that, another car alighted and parked at the roadside before the driver stepped out of the vehicle.

Michael looked at the bustling crowd around the casino hotel and couldn't help but comment, "How carefree"

And with a grin on his face, he slowly made his way inside the building while twirling his car key on his finger.

Inside, he didn't waste any time and started looking for his target as he didn't want to play around because he knows full well how he doesn't have a good chemistry with gambling games because he always loses every time.

"Now, where is that bastard?" mumbled Michael as he arrived at the second floor balcony that overlooks almost all of the first floor.

"Hahaha! I think tonight is my night! Dealer, hurry up and deal the cards! My hands are getting itchy! I'm feeling lucky tonight!"

Then suddenly, a loud laughter of someone quickly attracted his attention from somewhere down below, and when he looked over, he was surprised to see that it was actually Antoine Herrera himself!

He wasn't surprised because he found him so fast, but he was surprised at the man's…

"His luck certainly is sh*tty tonight" Michael laughed following when he heard what Antoine had shouted of having good luck tonight!

"I'm sorry, but I think you ain't that lucky tonight" with a chuckle, Michael went down the stairs and started making his way over to where Antoine is at, and those bodyguards looking after the man haven't had a single clue that a disaster is slowly heading their way.

When he saw the cards that were dealt to him, his eyes lit up in excitement and he threw the cards on the table with a boisterous laugh, "Blackjack! Hahaha! I told you it's my night tonight!"

"Oh my~ my darling is lucky tonight!"

"Isn't that already your third one!? Not only are you lucky for being accompanied by such a beautiful woman, but your luck tonight sure is really bright!"

"You sure are having fun Mr. Antoine, can I join you?"

"Of cour- its you!"
