Chapter 379 - Signature

"I didn't expect that she's that Rabbit. It's because she always wore a mask whenever I see her back then"

Michael couldn't help but shiver just thinking about that dangerous encounter from earlier. He didn't even had any doubts that Fox was lying about it, because only someone stupid enough would try to impersonate such a dangerous individual, as he even wouldn't dare to impersonate Zero if he's given the chance.

Because that would be just asking for an early arrival to his coffin if it was discovered.

"Wait, I gotta tell others about this. They're gonna be so jealous when they hear about this" even though he got the biggest scare of his life earlier, he didn't forget to want to brag about it to Randy and the others.

After all, if Allison is a famous movie star in the entertainment world, then Rabbit, or Fox would be a famous star in the underground world.

Michael was about to press the send button on their group chat when a thought suddenly occurred to him.

"Wait, she won't try to kill me if others find out about her, right?" mumbled Michael as he pulled his finger away from his phone.

Various expressions flashed past his face as he felt conflicted inside, as he wasn't sure if he should share his discovery or not, and because he was into his own world, he didn't even notice that a few people along the street were looking at him with weird expressions on their faces.

One kid pointed at Michael while holding an ice cream in one hand saying. "Mom, what do you think is that ahjussi doing?"

The mother was so flustered that she quickly picked up her kid and quickly walked away saying, "Don't point your finger at him son. It might get us into trouble, okay?"

"Okay~!" answered the little kid cutely, while staring at Michael with curiosity as his figure slowly disappeared in his sight.

Michael just directly ignored all those gazes as he continued walking at his own pace.

"Ahh~ f*ck it! She didn't even hesitate to reveal who she was. So she's probably isn't that worried even if people finds out who she truly is"

In the end, Michael fell into his desires to brag and pressed the send button on their group chat.

When he finally sent it, Michael chuckled while he quickly looked for a public bench to sit on as he watched the group chat with anticipation. It was still silent for a few seconds and Michael figured that they must be busy playing in the game, but not even a minute later, the chat suddenly burst into activity!

[Impossible! I heard Rabbit is now living in the Republic of Jos….ohh~] replied Circle on the chat with a laughing emoji at the end.

Followed by Riley, [Did you take a picture with her or get her signature?]

[You really met her? Is she beautiful like the rumors said she is?] asked Randy in the chat with pondering emoji at the end.

[I'm also curious. I've seen her countless times back in the HQ when I was still young and active, but she always wore a kabuki mask every time. So no one really knows what she looks like except for only a select few] replied Miya.

Genesis, this former rock star and retired assassin also joined in, [I also haven't seen what she looks like back then, but she seems pretty young. Counting the years, she must be around early forties or late thirties, and she was a bomb!]

Then the talk was suddenly shifted to Genesis's embarrassing past encounter with Rabbit. Michael was also interested in it and just kept reading their messages as he had never heard of this story about Genesis and Rabbit before.

Then everyone including Michael who was enjoying the conversation going on didn't send anymore messages except for a string of laughing emojis.

Rie: [@Mike take a photo with her and get her signature or don't even think of coming back!]

Michael was a little startled when he saw that and he quickly replied, [What? Why?]

Rie: [Just do it, you brat. I'll give you a special reward if you do it for me]

Ron: [Just do it kid, you don't want to anger her. Besides, this crazy woman is a fan of hers]

Circo: [Exactly]

Michael really wanted to curse at them. Of course, he knows that he can't afford to anger Riley, that woman is crazy!

But Rabbit is far scarier than her!

And for the first time in a while, Michael was caught between a rock and a hard place, as on one side, he didn't want to anger Riley who would certainly go ballistic when goes back empty handed, but at the same time, he also doesn't want to go back to the Inn and meet Fox again.

And with that, Michael pocketed his phone and made his way to the main street and hailed a cab as he made his way to another appointment, to an arms dealer that has a connection with the branch office here and was referred to him by Fox at last night's meeting.

Michael arrived there with no problems and managed to rent a sniper rifle, and he left the chop shop with a modified black briefcase in one hand.
