Chapter 3018 - Sword Command

When two dogs were fighting for a bone, the third one would run away with it. Lan Luo was watching the scene unfold from a distance. It was impossible for both of them to pull together in the battle. Different opinions would occur before the ultimate battle as both of them had an ax to grind.

The secret of the Great Emperor’s tomb should never be brought out into the open. However, Jiang Chen and the others had accidentally slipped in the depth of the abyss. Anyhow, they should not have entered in the first place.

“Back off!”

Jiang Chen said. It was nearly impossible for him to fight two Hierarch experts at the same time. After all, there was a huge difference between them, the only way to stay alive was to step back and flee for their lives.

“Are you trying to escape from us? I won’t allow it.”

Scarlet Flame the Enlightened said with a sneer. Both of them rushed to Jiang Chen and the others instantly. Qian Renji and Bing Yun were unable to resist their attack and were thrown out immediately. Even though Jiang Chen and Xue Liang soared high into the sky, they were standing on the edge of a precipice. Xue Liang was mortally wounded, so it was impossible for him to resist an attack from a Hierarch expert at the moment.

“Step back!”

Jiang Chen warned Xue Liang to stay back. At the moment, even Lan Luo was slightly startled. Would he fight both of them alone? That sounded absolutely ridiculous.

Lan Luo shook her head because if he did fight, he would be defeated and killed mercilessly.

“You are digging your own grave. My cane is starving, it has been dying for fresh blood. I am going to feed it with your blood.”

Scarlet Flame the Enlightened turned gloomy, he was eager for blood. In the meantime, Xuan Yuanqi struck out ferociously. Even though both of them just used sixty percent of their strength, it was strong enough to pose a threat to Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen struck out three swords at once. The Heavenly Dragon Sword howled wildly. He had fallen into a difficult position at the moment due to the sleeping sword’s soul. Although the Sword of Solitude was constantly getting stronger, it did not come into play as he was dealing with two Hierarch experts.

Jiang Chen stepped backward continuously. It sounded easy to fight them alone but apparently, he was struggling on the verge of death.

There was a deafening roar reverberating through the air. Seven dragons were soaring up in the sky furiously, rushing toward Xuan Yuanzi and Scarlet Flame the Enlightened with tremendous momentum. The Heavenly Dragon Knights showed up once again.

“The Heavenly Dragon Knights are here again!”

Jiang Chen was slightly startled. Surprisingly, the Heavenly Dragon Knights were on his side. The seven knights formed a criss-cross formation instantly. The air was full of the dragon’s shadows. Xuan Yuanqi and Scarlet Flame the Enlightened were astonished at their overwhelming and awe-inspiring pose.

“The Heavenly Dragon Knights are truly terrifying. Even though they’re already dead, they’re still earth-shaking and unbeatable.”

Xuan Yuanqi dared not underestimate their power. The Knights had turned the table on them, even Scarlet Flame the Enlightened could hardly believe this.

“Sword of Solitude, the sword Qi......”

The moment Jiang Chen pointed his sword at Xuan Yuanqi, the Heavenly Sword Knights surged toward Xuan Yuanqi insanely. They seemed to listen to his command. Xuan Yuanqi’s face turned ghastly pale instantly.

There was glitter in Jiang Chen’s eyes. He realized the Sword of Solitude had influenced the Heavenly Dragon Knights greatly. That made them protect him. Moreover, the Heavenly Dragon Knights would surge forward without hesitation when Jiang Chen pointed his sword.

“Godd*mn. Why are the Heavenly Dragon Knights listening to him?”

Xuan Yuanqi roared ferociously, trying to frighten off the Heavenly Dragon Knights. Meanwhile the Scarlet Flame the Enlightened did not stay still. However, both of them failed to gain the upper hand over the seven Knights. They were treating them with some reservations while the Heavenly Dragon Knights advanced and retreated as a one unit. They could not feel any fatigue as Jiang Chen’s sword spirit was the only thing that supported their bodies.

Not only Xuan Yuanqi, everyone was filled with curiosity. Even Jiang Chen shared the same thought. The advancement of the Sword of Solitude had brought a great influence to the Heavenly Dragon Knights. Jiang Chen looked solemn, feeling some excitement and anticipation. He wondered who was the Ancient Great Emperor that owned the tomb.

Even though the Heavenly Dragon Knights were formidable, they were merely puppets which could never fight real Hierarch experts. Moreover, the two strong experts made an alliance. Xuan Yuanqi and the Scarlet Flame the Enlightened gave full play to their strengths respectively and strived to defeat them. After all, it would be the most humiliating picture if they were defeated by the Heavenly Dragon Knights.

However, Xuan Yuanqi and Scarlet Flame the Enlightened were completely stunned by the power of the Heavenly Dragon Knights. In the meantime, Jiang Chen’s Sword of Solitude exerted its full strength wildly. The Heavenly Dragon Knights followed each trace of the Sword Qi.

“Is the Sword of Solitude created by the Ancient Nine Region Emperor?”

Jiang Chen thought. He could not find another explanation for this situation. It was absolutely unbelievable that the Heavenly Dragon Knights would follow the command of the Sword of Solitude.

Jiang Chen pierced through the void. The Heavenly Dragon Knights soared high into the sky and went into an intense battle with Xuan Yuanqi and Scarlet Flame the Enlightened immediately. The battle was shuffling to and fro, the universe was devastated!

At this very moment, there was a violent tremble in the Great Emperor’s tomb. Jiang Che had gained recognition by manipulating the Heavenly Dragon Knights, and this forced Xuan Yuanqi to call a truce!

“It would make no difference even if we continue the fight. Kid, you can follow me to the Great Emperor’s tomb.”

Xuan Yuanqi gritted his teeth. Even though he was unwilling, there was no doubt that he would not be able to resist the power of seven Heavenly Dragon Knights. Xuan Yuanqi dared not make a rash act at the moment, he could not help but make a step backward. Xuan Yuanqi was towering with rage. He never expected Jiang Chen to make this reckless move.

Jiang Chen knew well that the Heavenly Dragon Knights could not defeat Xuan Yuanqi. But he was bound to teach Xuan Yuanqi a lesson, or else, he would be forced into a passive position later. He was determined to torment him even if he failed to take his life.

The Heavenly Dragon Knights did not disappoint Jiang Chen. They surged forward fearlessly. Xuan Yuanqi was on the horns of a dilemma because the so-called ally of his, Scarlet Flame the Enlightened, had fled for his life at the moment. Xuan Yuanqi was eventually driven to the wall by the Heavenly Dragon Knights.

At the moment, the entire Great Emperor’s Tomb was trembling violently and the ground collapsed. Countless treasures were buried in the underground. It made them feel regret. While the red platform behind the Bronze Throne was rising slowly and formed a terrace stone platform which was full of blood-colored inscriptions on it. The stone platform was filled with terrifying sword Qi, everyone could feel a horrifying oppression. Third Elder, Bing Yun and Qian Renji were astounded were completely stunned by the dreadful spirit of the red stone platform.

Lan Luo’s eyes kindled with excitement even though she felt the great oppression.
