Even though they had an abundance of Hierarch experts, he dared not to be reckless. As this wasn’t the Profound Connection Divine Palace anymore, he needed to be careful. The tomb of a great emperor was found around this area, it’s best not to cause any trouble. Moreover, the demonic beasts of these snowy regions live in groups.

“I’ve heard about the demonic beasts of this region, they’re extremely terrifying, try not to provoke them. Their speed and strength are not to be trifled with. We’ll be fine as long as we don’t provoke them.” Liancheng Yanyun said.

Everyone began preparation after the Third Elder had given out his instructions.

Jiang Chen silently nodded and followed Yang Xikuan and Chi Haifei. To gain an upper hand against Yue Changzhi, he’s definitely better than your normal Half-Step Hierarch.

The Third Elder gave every team leader a jade plaque, everyone would be able to know where they were if they shatter the plaque.

“We will respectfully follow the order of the Third Elder.” Qian Renji and the others said.

Nobody dared to treat it lightly. The Third Elder was weaker than the Second Palace Lord, however, he’s at least a Late Hierarch, most probably stronger than Lin Youkang. He’s the strongest amongst the group, second would be Shangguan Yanyun, then Qian Renji. Meanwhile, Yang Xikuan and Chi Haifei were of similar strength.

The four teams scattered towards four different directions, scouting the 30,000 li radius, in search of the entrance.

Jiang Chen’s group were tasked with the western area, however, their speed was tremendously reduced due to the heavy storm. It’s not easy to search for the landmark that was told by the Third Elder.

“The tomb is certainly here but the entrance is not easy to find.” Jiang Chen slightly frowned.

“Oh? Why so? Did you notice something?” Chi Haifei looked at Jiang Chen with a shocked expression.

The Half-Step Hierarch disciple dared not to cause any trouble as the instructors were keen on Jiang Chen. He chose to listen to his opinion without a scene.

“This area is different, perhaps, it’s really a place that the dragons gather, and the dangers it poses are tremendous.” Jiang Chen said with a heavy tone.

“That’s natural, didn’t the Third Elder say that it’s not simple to find the entrance. Moreover, we have to be extra careful even if we find it, a tomb of an Emperor Realm expert must have something in store for trespassers. Hahaha.” Yang Xikuan smiled.

“A place where dragons gather, death and life in a single thought. It’s best to be careful. I can’t say much more than that.” Jiang Chen said quietly.

“Alright. Let us quickly depart and not dawdle any longer.” Yang Xikuan smiled.

However, Jiang Chen could see that he did not put much emphasis upon his words. Although he’s pretty respectful towards him due to him being his saviour, Jiang Chen cultivation realm was still too weak compared to them. Were his words that important? Yang Xikuan did not think so.

Jiang Chen had already said what was needed and did not continue any longer. The six of them then continued travelling towards the west.

In this place, there was no day and night, the weather was always murky, no daylight could be seen, only wind and snow, with really large boulders could be swept away at any time.

Jiang Chen and the group had travelled for half a month for the 3000 li distance, the difficulty was harsh.

“Look, another snow demonic beast?” Chi Haifei frowned.

This fella looks like it's coming for us.

They quickly moved forward, yet snow demonic beasts kept on appearing around them with extreme speed as this was their territory.

“Scram! Or else, die!” An ear-splitting shout reverberated through the storm but quickly vanished.

Four snow-white demonic beasts appeared before the group. Yang Xikuan and Chi Haifei looked at each other. These beasts are here to block our path?
