Chapter 55: Deathbone Swordsman, Super-God Grade Existence!

The faint green power of death surged like a gushing tide, sweeping across the entire space. It turned the darkness a blackish-green, facing off with the light from afar.

This scene could be described as extremely shocking!

Two interwoven opposing forces lingered in this space and mutually counteracted, causing the might to become increasingly explosive. However, the extent of the power of death’s tempestuousness was difficult to imagine. “Hiak hiak! It’s been 10,000 years; has someone finally entered these grounds?” An extremely hoarse voice sounded; it was like withered sticks rubbing together, ear-piercing and forlorn.

Right then, a notification also resounded in Link’s mind.

Name: Geno

Profession: Deathbone Swordsman (Super God-grade)

Level: Stage Two, Level 5 (Set according to adventurer’s level!)

Introduction: Geno was originally the Star Empire’s most honorable swordsman. One day he acquired a strange bone armor and received the God of Death’s terrifying curse, causing him to fall into darkness and be reduced to the God of Death’s slave that only knows bloodlust and slaughter!

While staring at the weirdly-shaped Deathbone Swordsman with hideous features before him, a hint of grimness flashed across Link’s eyes.

This Deathbone Swordsman’s aura was too frightening, even more dreadful than the Necromancer that Link had encountered. The death aura all around him was in an upsurge as if even the Sea of Death was in turbulence!

This is indeed a Super God-grade tester. It is definitely formidable!

“It’s... the scent of fresh blood!” Geno let out a howl-like voice. His pair of eyes that were like dead ashes carried a charming force, landing fixedly on Link. It seemed like he wanted to devour Link’s flesh and blood!

At the same time, the mist of death behind Geno began to run riot. It was like a tempestuous storm, rough, turbulent, and seeking to overturn this space!

“Holy Light Purification!” Sensing the spreading mist of death, Yuna was forced to act. She cried out delicately and leaped up. The four wings behind her spread out, and holy light illuminated the world as if the blazing sun had risen!

“Hmph, detestable aura of light! All of you, die!” This sight seemed to have infuriated this terrifying existence, making the Deathbone Swordsman release a forlorn and bitter roar!

Geno acted; he did not move, but his boney hand had already stretched out and abruptly slammed towards Yuna!

For a time, the mist of death fluctuated, condensing into a faint green palm of death in the vacant space. It came with a sweeping force, about to crush everything!

“Yuna, Holy Light Blessing!” Link ordered coldly. He similarly sensed how frightening Geno’s attack was. It felt as though the entire zenith had sunk down with it—unstoppable!

Upon hearing Link’s order, a golden light flickered in Yuna’s pupils. Her holy wings flapped, allowing holy light to fall and form a gold barrier!

Boom!

A muffled bang sounded!

The palm of death collided with the holy light barrier, causing a loud rattle!

The faint green mist of death intertwined with the golden holy light, giving off a squealing, burning-like sound, and the two powers were mutually blending!

Crack!

A clear sound went off. The power of death seemed to be too much for that golden barrier—it was about to break!

Upon seeing this, Link’s gaze turned cold, and his aura became increasingly chilly.

“God Devourer, go!” Link gave the order. He had noticed Yuna’s exhaustion. Given her strength, it was difficult to rival such a dense mist of death!

“Zhi zhi!” The God Devourer Ant received the order and instantly rushed out. Its entire being turned into a bluish-gold radiance, moving like lightning; it was extremely swift.

In the twinkling of an eye, the God Devourer Ant rushed to Geno’s side and landed a strike on his armor covered with bones!

Boom!

The sound was deafening, similar to thunder exploding!

One should know that God Devourer Ant was known for its strength. Its strength was terrifying. Under [Heavenly Power]’s stimulation, its attacks even dealt ten-fold damage that of its Strength attribute!

Given God Devourer Ant’s current capabilities, even a Stage Three creature’s body would rupture and turn into a lump of emulsified meat when struck by this attack! Yet, the outcome was barely satisfactory.

The bone armor around Geno’s body burst forth with a faint green glow. It also made God Devourer Ant’s attack seem like a pebble dropping into the sea or sinking into wetlands—it did not cause any substantial damage to Geno.

God Devourer Ant was sent flying. Its attack merely left a mark on Geno’s armor.

“Very well, all of you have successfully enraged me!” It seemed that receiving some slight damage caused Geno to become even more demented. His grayish-black pupils also turned blood-red at this instant, sad and piercing like bloody suns!

“Go to hell!” Geno said chillingly. He had already swung the bone sword in his hand. The bone sword made of unknown creatures’ bones was filled with a ferocious and savage aura!

“Death Crumble!”

The sparkling snow-white bone sword traversed forward, also making the entire dark space quake with it.

The bone sword was extremely sharp, containing the suffering of dead souls. It led to an infinite amount of mist of death, displaying a massive bulk of sword energy as it hacked forward!

Wherever it passed, light was annihilated. The void trembled as if it was about to break apart!

“Master, watch out!” Upon seeing this, Yuna was greatly shocked. She had already sensed the terror of this attack—it seemed like it was about to tear the world into half!

“Holy Light Beam!” In a critical situation, Yuna could not care for that much. Golden light scattered from the wings behind her.

Holy light abruptly burst out, turned into a beam of gold light, and completely enveloped Link!

This was Yuna’s newly activated skill—it allowed her to grant an ally, or herself, invincibility for two seconds! However, [Holy Light Beam] could only protect Link; it left Yuna and God Devourer Ant in danger!

“Yuna, God Devourer, come back!” At this moment, Link yelled and directly recalled them.

They were Link’s summoned creatures, so he could freely summon them. Naturally, he was also able to recall them freely.

As for Star Moon, Link did not allow it to participate at all. Its capabilities were still lacking, so it was unable to pose a threat to this Deathbone Swordsman!

A loud bang sounded, and the space shook as dust rose all around!

“Is that so?” But right then, an utterly icy voice sounded.

When the dust settled, Link’s figure emerged once more. His long robe was flowing, but there wasn’t a hint of untidiness. He had not been hurt in the slightest!
