All cities that could be preserved in the first siege would become the few home cities of the entire Blue Star. They would be the core of the Doomsday era!

They would also be the greatest safeguard for [Doomsday Online] players to survive in this apocalyptic world.

Home cities came with protective auras. Creatures that were offensive to players would not appear within a certain radius of them. Looking around, Angel Yuna quietly kept watch by his side. The golden holy light that she radiated caused this room with no candles to remain bright.

He got up and left the room, coming to the corridor outside and stretched himself.

Unfortunately, the bodies everywhere in this campus had already begun to stink. The stench diffused through the air, spoiling his mood a little.

Yang Xuerou nodded upon hearing him. She then went to stand beside Link—shoulder to shoulder—and stopped speaking.

About two minutes later, Xue Linglong and Luo Xingyao walked out from their rooms at the same time. Luo Xinghe also poked his head out of the room on the other end.

“Let’s move!” Link said coolly and walked ahead.

The dark creatures within the campus had long been purged. They were silent throughout the journey.

When they arrived at the school gates, Luo Xinghe took the initiative to go forward to undo the chains on the tall metal gates.

But just then, Link’s brows knitted as he looked towards the darkness ahead.

“Who’s there?” Luo Xingyao also sensed the anomaly. In the blink of an eye, she nocked an arrow and drew the bow, aiming it in the direction that Link looked at.

Slightly heavy footsteps sounded increasingly clear in the darkness, and a slender silhouette gradually appeared in the sights of the crowd.

“Are you okay?” Yang Xuerou asked softly.

Qiao Ruowei shook her head in silence and followed behind Link and company.

On the streets, dark creatures could be seen everywhere. The majority were existences at the level of Skeleton Swordsmen. There were also a considerable number of Undead Knights.

Link suddenly stopped in his steps, and nonchalantly called out, “Qiao Ruowei!”

Qiao Ruowei went forward and bowed her head. “Yes, Lord!”

“Know how to lure monsters?”

“Hmm?” Qiao Ruowei lifted her head, some puzzlement in her red and swollen eyes.

“Go around in front of these monsters, lure them together, and bring them to us!” Link gave a simple explanation.

“I can try!” Qiao Ruowei nodded and ran towards the closest Skeleton Swordsman with her dagger in hand.

The Skeleton Swordsman was alarmed and chased her.

Qiao Ruowei spun on her feet and dashed towards the next closest dark creatures. She repeated this a few times, and the dark creatures behind her back multiplied. There were a good 20 to 30 of them.

The stir became greater and greater too. Gradually, several Undead Knights also followed.

The Undead Knights were extremely fast, and Qiao Ruowei was almost struck by their spears a few times, but she always managed to dodge them riskily in the most critical moment.

Link watched for a while and said, “That will do!”
