Davis let Xerax go and activated the formation core as he repeated the same movements the rats made to mend the spatial tunnel. After a blinding light filled the spatial tunnel, he smiled at Xerax.

"Alright, it's your turn. I hope you make it to the other side, as I can't have you dying halfway through. After all, if I don't make you suffer, I will not be satisfied."

Xerax stood before the spatial vortex, his expression full of hesitation.

However, he knew if he didn't take a step forward, he would meet the same fate as Patriarch Killian Zenflame, tortured to death. Thinking of that kind of horrendous fate, he clenched his teeth and stepped forward.

He flew into the spatial vortex, causing his heart to pound heavily. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be rejected, but there was still the immense pressure in the tunnel that would quickly crush him. He gulped and took a step forward as though he was walking a path filled with swords and spears underneath.

He closed his eyes and kept moving forward.

Eventually, he felt himself sink, causing his expression to churn.

"No!"

He spread his hands and invoked his defenses but then suddenly realized that he was in a desert.

He knew where this was, causing his eyes to turn wide.

"I'm out…"

His voice was filled with disbelief before he turned to look around and saw the spatial vortex.

At the end of the spatial vortex was the unsightly expression of the Divine Emperor of Death. His face appeared to be furious, causing Xerax to blink before his lips curled as he saw that the formation core had broken, making it so that it was unpassable now!

On the other side, Davis appeared to be furious, but he was smiling inwardly.

Formation core? Success? Who was he kidding?

That spatial formation core for the spatial node was the most incredible trash runes he had ever drawn. Even though they were authentic spatial runes, they were all filled with flaws that would collapse upon being used and explode right on his face, but for the King-Tier Cyan Soul Rat, it actually helped him escape before collapsing.

Looking down, he saw that his member was falling to the ground. It landed with a light thud as though it weighed hundreds of kilograms.

He had sworn he had seen something crimson slicing through now that he recalled, but just as he did, his scalp turned numb as she shot back in an instant.

Appearing hundreds of meters away in an instant, he collapsed to the ground as he saw that his limbs were cut off somehow, and surrounding him were two curved crimson blades that danced around him, trying to carve his flesh with numerous wounds.

He hurriedly tried to turn into a Cyan Soul Rat, but a crimson-black-haired woman suddenly appeared above the air, elegantly- no, threateningly grasping the two curved crimson blades and stabbing one into his chest.

Xerax was horrified. He sensed that he was unable to do anything against this woman as she used a mysterious ability to seal his powers, not to mention she released an aura that was way above what he could match!

Schleya looked down on Xerax and saw that he was thoroughly subdued. However, she didn't forget to report.

"The Jadedrite Sword Mini Realm is near, just a few hundred thousand kilometers away. Does my liege want to visit?"

Davis's brows raised on the other side of the spatial vortex.

It was near? Then, it was no wonder Schleya showed up since she was on standby near the Jadedrite Sword Mini Realm to help Natalya, Jade Aurora, and Ivy Aries. Still, he couldn't believe this information as the Jadedrite Sword Mini Realm was near the Northern Divide while the previously abandoned mini realm he had visited was at the Southern Divide. The distance was huge, but despite that, a spatial menace had crossed such a distance to come here to this Cyan Den Mini Realm.

He couldn't help but turn to look at the Voidslime Realm Eater in the distance, knowing that if it had finished eating this realm, it would've actually led him to the Jadedrite Sword Mini Realm since it was nearby.

'Truly… what a fateful… coincidence…'

Davis couldn't help but chuckle lightly. Everything was leading to a point where he wasn't sure where it led.

The mystical workings of fate truly had him intrigued.
