Davis stared at his Nadia with utter shock.

After they made love for the first time, he knew it was time to seriously start baby-making, so he thought of giving her a heavenly resource that increased the conception rate for wolves. Naturally, this treasure was only known for its effectiveness on light-attributed wolves.

Of course, it was documented to work on other wolves as well, albeit less, especially dark-attributed wolves.

Despite the laughably small percentage of increase in conception rate, Nadia accepted this heavenly resource in order to get pregnant, so they continued to work hard. After three days, they didn't know how much time had passed as they forgot themselves in desire and pleasure.

Therefore, he was about to end it soon and get on with the tasks at hand as things were getting late.

However, luck would have it that he got Nadia pregnant on their first session, leaving him shuddering at the probability of this situation.

He was dazed beyond compare and only reacted a while later.

Evelynn and the others looked stunned as Davis lightly went over what had happened.

After six days, Davis exited the nuptial chamber, traveled from the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, and returned with Nadia. He came back to his new home.

The ladies who had relocated to their new home many days ago swarmed Nadia with excited expressions, subjecting her to the much-awaited congratulations as well as fanfare. It was a piece of extremely good news that they decided to have a feast again.

Among the beauties present, Ellia was the only one who understood the significance of this event, and she was speechless for a few minutes before finally being able to congratulate Nadia.

Their good wishes naturally overwhelmed Nadia, so she remained silent and answered with few words the entire time. The others couldn't help but continually tease her, wondering how many children she would give birth to as magical beasts tended to give birth to multiple offspring at the same time.

While everyone was having fun, Davis pulled Mingzhi aside and got some intel from her regarding the state of the world.

There were little to no changes, causing him to heave a sigh of relief.

However, the Cyan Soul Rat Clan was still not found despite having found some clues, making him rather impressed as he wondered if they decided to wait this out by sealing themselves in the mini-realm for hundreds and thousands of years.

It was not anything new. The Malevolent Blade Hall and many other powers did the same thing hundreds and thousands of years ago before they returned to the current era with renewed prowess.

In that case, he felt like he needed to use Fallen Heaven to smoke them out but was willing to wait for one or two years before he put the target on their heads.

As for Natalya and Tia, they seemed fine and didn't act like anything was out of the ordinary, which reassured him that they weren't doing anything stupid and knew their strengths and strategies.

Overall, he was thoroughly satisfied, especially since having been able to impregnate Nadia with his child made him feel like a lifelong accomplishment.

Later that day, Davis joined the feast and had fun.

The hall in his new mansion was adorned with intricately carved wooden beams and pillars. Elaborate paintings depicting the twelve mythical creatures, landscapes of his past homes, and historical scenes of his life and his beauties adorn the walls, adding to the ambiance of elegance and history.

The ceilings were high, creating a sense of spaciousness, while ornate chandeliers made of gilded metal and adorned with precious stones hung from above, casting a warm, golden glow throughout the room.

The dining table was long and rectangular, crafted from polished ebony wood with intricate immortal crystal inlays. It was adorned with silk tablecloth featuring embroidered designs of dragons, phoenixes, and traditional floral patterns. Luxurious chairs with silk cushions were arranged along the table, offering seats to the guests, but in this case, his close ones.

Many had gathered here, including the little tree, Stella.

She made herself comfortable with all of them, but it didn't bother him, and he even appreciated her being in this place. 

The next day, he made plans with her to go hunt the spatial-attribute lifeform, so he used the remaining time to enjoy the small feast.

"How long do you think it would take for Nadia to give birth?" Mingzhi asked him, looking pretty curious.

"Nadia should have the best estimate herself through inherited memories," Isabella answered.

"I don't know… the Nether Springs Death Wolf race never seem to have mated with other races due to their deathly nature…"

Nadia shyly replied.

She wasn't overly shy but couldn't get rid of the feeling of embarrassment either. Besides, this special treatment she was now receiving as though she was one of the most precious lives despite being more powerful than most of them was hard to get used to.

Davis nodded, knowing that he would've died by allowing her death yin essence to seep into him if it were not for his soul physique.

Nonetheless, with her answer giving them no clues, Ellia looked at the other wolf species from her knowledge and put a number on the pregnancy period, which rounded around one to two years, which was still better than female dragons that had to wait for a long time.
