It was as though the hall was silent for an entire minute after the Divine Emperor of Death said such an absurd and disrespectful thing to Saint Alaric Valerian and Saintess Luciella Valerian.

Davis narrowed his eyes as he could sense his light energy aura to make him feel calm. It certainly had an extreme healing property to it, vastly different from any light energy he had ever seen, even more than his own or Myria's.

Certainly, he could understand why Alaric Valerian was called a Saint and was highly touted and respected by the prideful Dragon-Phoenix Alliance.

"Think what you like." But he smiled, "I'm not here to prove anything other than wanting to trade, so if you can get to that, I would be appreciative."

His voice was demure, as though he didn't want to make Saint Alaric Valerian lose any more face, causing the latter's gaze to chill.

Saint Alaric Valerian chuckled as he sat down, prompting his wife to also sit.

"That's right." Saintess Luciella Valerian echoed after her husband, "Our words when we said we adore Saintess Lunaria was true. We have wished to meet ever since we heard of her appearance in the Divine Emperor of Death's wedding, and now that I hear you are an in-name disciple, I can see that the chances that our request gets fulfilled are high."
